Salvatore and Maritina are the perfect hosts! The hotel is perfectly located for visiting the traditional Chora or going out at night. The rooms are a great size, very comfortable, nicely decorated and super clean! Excellent pool, and above all excellent vibe and service!!! Thanks for making our holiday a treat! 

Amazing experience 

Great Spot for young travellers. The owner was lovely but from speaking to him it seems like he was not expecting 3 over 30s staying at his hotel. Most likely 18-24s 
The room was basic with 3 small beds which we’re comfortable and a nice little balcony. However the bathroom was tiny and the door didn’t close properly so was a little awkward. If you happen to arrive before check in there is no luggage store or toilets so you will need find a restaurant or beach nearby. 
Good happy hour cocktails and nice staff.

Great for young travellers

I did not stay at the hotell, but stayed at the pool area and used the bar/food service for 4.days. the location is perfect, hospitality great, good vibes, the best hang out place in town for sure. Feels like your own Oasis in town, owners Are friendly play good music and make a great tapas platter.

An Oasis in IOS

Fantastic people, fantastic location! We were there with our two girls, 11 and 14, and had a great time both in Ios and at Hotel Mediterraneo, a lot because of Salvatore and his friendly staff. Clean, quiet (despite of all the parties around in Ios), and close to all bars and restaurants in the Town (Chora).

Highly recommended to anyone who really want to explore the island, and probably for those who wants to party as well 😊

Great stay!

We were here for a week recently and really enjoyed our stay. The location is second to none, right in the main square, beside the bus stop with the most amazing view of the chora.
The room was adequate, extremely clean with plenty of storage space, however the bathroom was extremely small. No kettle or tea /coffee making facilities but luckily as seasoned travellers in Greece we brought our own. The balcony was spacious and being on the second floor we had a fantastic view.
The food in the bar was really good and what really makes this place special is the friendliness of Sal and his staff, very warm and welcoming.
The pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds, it got very busy in the afternoon as non residents are allowed use the pool.loads of young Irish boys and girls arrived and spent the afternoons jumping in and out of the water. They were mostly friendly and well behaved but could be a bit off putting to older non Irish guests.
All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Very enjoyable stay! 

This hotel was great for a one night stopover in Ios. The location can’t be beat - right across the street from the bus station and walking distance to the night life. Nice view of the village and great pool area. The staff was incredibly friendly, and even offered to drive us to the ferry port upon our departure. Would stay here again upon my return to Ios.

Fantastic location in Chora

We stayed in Mediterraneo for two nights and honestly that was aperfect choice. 
the Hotel is right in the center of the city in the middle of all the attractions and city center. The bus stop in by the hotel's gate and its only 10 mins away form the main  Mylopotas beach. 
The Hotel owner is very very nice, welcoming and he picked us up from the port and drove us back. 
The rooms are clean and comfortable but the beds could be a bit softer.

The most central hotel

Great little spot right outside the main village (Chora). If you’re looking for a budget spot with some added bonuses then this is your place. The owner picked us up and dropped us off at the port. Cute rooms, very simple. Small shower would be about the only concern. But what a great pool and wonderful location! Bus stop to beaches, port, etc. is right outside the hotel. You’re also a 5 minute or less walk to most of the main part of the Chora. Tons of shops, bars, restaurants, etc. They also have a full bar with snacks, breakfast, ice cream, and all the drinks you would want/need. Happy hour daily too! Also a few great sunset spots very close by. Our short 2 night stay couldn’t have gone better, we hope to be back someday!!

Just perfect!

Had the perfect stay. Great location, friendly staff and cute doggies. right next to bus stop, shops and restaurants. Very easy to get to beach. Greek style rooms were very cute. Highly recommend. The owner was very accommodating!

Lovely 

I stayed with my partner in September. Sal picked us up from the port. We had a room on the 2nd floor with a lovely balcony and beautiful views over to Ios Chora. This is a great budget hotel I'd that's what you're after. It's super central to the town and the bus stop is right outside the hotel where you can go to Malopatas Beach or to the port and Pathos Beach Club. 

My only gripes and advice to improve the hotel - no kettle for coffee/tea in the rooms, no safe which we found concerning and there was no iron. We spent around 45 minutes each evening trying to iron dresses and shirts with a pair of straightners. Fridge was also super noisy.
