Myself and my wife just returned from Roda in Corfu and had a lovely stay at the Theodoros Resort Hotel.It was a great location and the staff were great and very attentive especially Dimitris and Panos.I would highly recommend this hotel and would come again.We did a bus trip to Corfu Town which was lovely and a short bus trip to Sindari just up the coast and it was amazing and definitely worth a visit.We also did a day trip to Albania and would highly recommend the trip.

Great location

The apartments are well positioned within easy walking distance to shops, bars & a sandy beach where sunbeds are free if you buy drinks or food. Our two bedroom apartment was clean, well maintained & by the pool. It had a seating area overlooking the garden which was great apart from the fact that we got so many bites when sitting out there, despite applying insect repellent.
The staff were lovely & the food excellent.
The only downside was the long transfer from the airport which is far longer than quoted. The coach took an hour & forty minutes to get there along many narrow, winding roads. Some guests decided to share a taxi for the return trip instead. 
Rather than book a trip, the three of us shared a taxi to Paleokastritsa for the day for 55 euros each way which took 50 mins & was well worth it. We managed a boat trip, a visit to the monastery, a lovely lunch & a few hours on the beach there before watching a beautiful sunset.
Back in Roda we had an excellent Greek night at Roxanne's, overlooking the beach.
There's a shop opposite the apartments for essentials & Carrefour is in the main street about 10mins walk away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Great holiday

My partner and I were in a studio in Anna's, across the road from Theos. Anna and her cleaning staff were friendly, extremely helpful and professional, can't fault them. The accommodation was a bit dated but functional and spotlessly clean. The only thing missing for me, and this is a suggestion not a criticism, the bathroom could benefit from a hook for clothes when using the shower. Other than that, our eleven nights were comfortable and I have no hesitation in recommending this resort. Theos pool and whirlpool is great as is the service especially waitress Katrina.

Wonderful time Wonderful staff!

Stayer in this beautiful resort for 2 weeks & what a good choice it was from the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome all the staff work extremely hard can’t name them all but Katerina during the day & Panos in the evening were so friendly and nothing too much trouble for them, had several meals in the hotel & every one very well prepared, the studio room we had was a good size & a big comfortable bed, all in all it was a very enjoyable experience, if I was going to have one small moan it would have to be the terrible music played throughout the day otherwise very good.

Wonderful

We’ve just spent 10 days at Theodoros Resort, and overall it was lovely . We had a new apartment which was spotless, rubbish was collected every day, as well as the offer of toilet rolls and fresh towels . The staff were amazing , nothing was too much trouble . The food is first class, and very reasonably priced, as were drinks. The pool area was immaculate, with the most comfortable sun beds ever, pool itself was superb, very clean. There was never a problem getting a bed either, some days it was very quiet . About a 5-10 min walk takes you to bars, restaurants and shops , which are lovely. A few negative things in my opinion though, the first one there was no storage space in the bedroom, only a rail with 10 hangers, and no drawer or cupboard space . We lived out of our cases which had to be kept in the living area. A toaster would be of benefit too. Guests from other apartments were using out patio area as a shortcut as well which was a bit of a nuisance especially when you are sat there . We found the aircon expensive, we were charged €16 euros a night for 1 bedroom. While it’s optional, it really was a must because of the heat . Mosquitoes posed a massive problem , having never been bothered with them ever before, we both were practically eaten alive, despite using sprays etc, they were all over . We found burning a citronella candle and burning mosquito repellents helped while sitting outside . Overall we have really enjoyed our 10 days, but because of the mosquito problem would not go back . 

A lovely friendly place 

Just returned from the Theodoros had an excellent chill break accommodation was
comfortable the staff were fantastic and the choice of food was also so good. 
Transfer takes a good hour or so depending on how many stops there are. 
Corfu Airport must be one of the worse Airports I have encountered they can’t handle to many flights at one time totally inadequate from touchdown at 12:30pm it took us till 3 pm to finally get our bags. 
Unfortunately that seems to be a regular occurrence and a certain put off to return. 

Great chill spot

We stayed at theodoros in September 2023 and had a great time. By far the best thing about the hotel is the staff! They are all so friendly and helpful (particularly Dimitri!).

The hotel itself if really nice, the 3.2m pool is fantastic and has a small kids area too if you require it. The photos don't do the place justice! Everything is impeccably kept - rooms are cleaned and towels/sheets changed often, the bar and dining area is modern and clean, as are the rooms. They show regular English football matches and have a events such as bingo in the evening. The loungers are cushioned and very comfortable, each has an umbrella and there was no rush for the loungers when we stayed, unlike many hotels. The food is very good, big portions for every meal, they are reasonably priced and there are a range of drinks and cocktails.

5 min walk into the town centre which has many nice bars and restaurants. There are bus stops also nearby that can take you into corfu town and a few other places but there is car and bike/quad rental in the town - the hotel also has e-scooters for rent!  

I would 100% recommend Theodoros as probably the nicest hotel in roda! 

Beautiful and welcoming hotel 

Our holiday was cancelled with no explanation. We know it wasn't TUI because the same flights were still available... So clearly the hotel just doesn't want to know us. The substitute hotel TUI offered looked terrible, which is not The Theodoros fault, but they caused the issue which has frankly ruined our 2023 holiday as prices have shot up since we booked. If I do still make it to Corfu, I'll make a point of stopping by to complain in person!

Thodoras Resort.
We stayed in annex room 401, the apartment was dated,damp,mould in an extremely dated old bathroom, however it was exceptionally clean, set in old established traditional garden with verander out back. The apartment did not get any sun making it cold and damp.
The resort and pool and bar were excellent food of extremely high quality, staff so friendly and helpful. The Thedoras is a short walk in to Roda where there are bars and restaurants for every taste. 
We liked the peace and quiet of resort and would return but not to apartment 401. 
To note our stay was at the end of the session I could imagine hight on session it would be lively and you would struggle to get a sunbed.

For those it matters too the free WiFi in apartment and bar is exceptional and the small shop caters for all your holiday needs and not expensive. 

CORFU RODA OCTOBER 2022

Myself and my family visited the resort for the day to use the pool and to have some lunch and drinks. The staff are very hardworking and very attentive. The pool is gorgeous and the sunbeds are more luxurious than most in the area. If you are looking to stay here then the location is perfect as it is only a 5 minute walk to the seafront with restaurants and bars. We always visit this resort whenever we visit Corfu and we will be back next year!
