We came to Amorgos for a short visit and found this nice little gem.
We really loved our stay there.
Nice and tasty decorated room with a sea view terrace. 
Very nice owner who helped us with useful tips.
Perfect situated in the middle of the village close to the harbour.
We highly recommend a stay.

Dimitrios, the owner, was very accommodating and friendly.    We were a group of six and needed three rooms.  We got the bottom floor with a balcony that joined all of our rooms.  The rooms were quiet, and had air conditioning.   My room was smallish but adequate.   

The view on the lower level, from the balcony,   isn’t of the Harbour,  It is of a parking area.   But it is quiet.   It was a great place to sit with our family.     The beds, pillows, sheets are amazingly comfortable. 

Also, coffee is not included.   It is  1 euro per cup.    

I give this 5 stars because it was convenient, quiet, clean and comfortable.   There was no false advertising.

Pleasant stay in Katapola at the Aegean of Amorgos Greece..

Prices are too high, considering the services offered, which are nil. Room was very humid, the bathroom’s toilet leaked water, constantly flooding the toilet. The most annoying thing is that there is no room where to hang the towels in the toilet and there is no room where to put anything. The breakfast was good. Location is central but difficult to reach if you have many luggages.

Not really an hotel, but a room rental with hotel prices

This is a really good place to stay, 2 min to the port, clean and good rooms with a great service. After sleeping on hard beds for 5 nights it was perfect to come here and sleep on quality beds. Thank you for a great stay at your hotel at Amorgos.

Nice beds and nice place

We live on Sifnos and were looking for a hotel for a short stay with friends on Amorgos. Since we wer traveling with our dog we searched for a pet-friendly hotel and the Aegean Hotel of Amorgos came up.

The hotel is located in the main port town of Katapola in steet set back from the main front. We had no probem with noise. The interior design is to a  high standard and someone had put a lot of effort into making it look fabulous.

Staff were all super friendly and helpful.

On leaving our dog was presented with a certificate of excellent behavior - a very nice, unexpected, and very sweet touch.

If you have a pet (well behaved) then finding a pet-friendly hotel can be a pain, so that this hotel not only is pet friendly, but affordable and also of the very highest standard was fantastic.

Cannot recommend this hotel more highly.

Fabulous Boutique Hotel

Good central and quiet location. It is like a Hotel but without a real recepcion working 24/7 (there is an office not always open) but if you need anything, you can contact them with a mail and they quickly reply. There is also a common area, to enjoy the view. Personnel is polite, helpful and in general super nice. Our room was nice and clean but small! Wardrobe basically non existent. Comfortable balcony with a nice view. If you like, they bring you breakfast in the morning in the room and you can have it on the balcony. In general it's a good place to stay in Amorgos. 

A good place to stay in Amorgos

On July 29th 2021 I managed to book one night at this wonderful place (at least from the pics). I was supposed to spend 3 nights in Amorgos but in this period of the year is very difficult to find a place. I had to book 3 different ones for each night. Well the reservation seemed to go through with confirmation but after 1 hour I received an e-mail telling me it was cancelled without explaining the reason. I found out the next day after one call and an e-mail that they told me my card was not accepted. The same cc I have used with no problems at all with other 12 reservations during this Greek vacation. You can imagine the big disappointment since they rejected me and did not assist me in finding something else! That is how a serious hotel should act! They just limited in saying that it was not their problem and if I would have written a bad review for the way I was treated they could pursue me. They did not prove me the cc was not valid and ingnored me at the end. I had more the feeling they went in over-booking by not closing the availability on their website and left me hotel-less! Yesterday finally I found by my-self a place for the first night and I am so glad did not have to sleep on the beach!

Left alone in the middle of the high Season

This is a beautiful little boutique hotel within a stone’s throw of the port, so with good access to everything you need.  

The room we stayed in was clean, with plenty of light, a comfortable bed, a good AC system, a lovely shower, a good-sized TV and a good view from the balcony.  

Breakfast was healthy and varied, made up of a few Greek specialties and always served at exactly the time we requested it right on our balcony.   

Our stay was during the Covid pandemic and the staff were incredibly careful in terms of respecting all safety precautions. Speaking of the staff, they were all incredibly helpful and friendly, and best of all they were responsible for the fact that we actually left from the right port because we thought it was the one next to the hotel…and it was the other one! Saved my ass!  

Highly recommended to anyone who is looking at staying in Amorgos.

Super friendly and helpful staff

The room was very cosy, neat and clean, decorated with relaxing colors and its cute balcony offered us a beautiful view of Katapola. All the necessary precautionary measures against the spread of COVID-19 were taken. The rooms are situated in a very convenient location, on a walking distance from the port of Katapola. The personnel was well mannered and eager to assist us with everything we needed. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. We will definitely come again! 

Excellent accommodation! 

First of all. Forget all ratings of 2017. something changed here. The whole accommodation is renovated and very nice and clean. The rooms are small but offer all you need. Toilet is separated from the bathroom (good for couples). The balcony is very nice with a few to the harbour. Breakfast is served in the room and is totally OK to start in the day (Joghurt, Fruits, Bread, Juice...). 
It is very silent. We left the window open. 
WiFi works perfect. 
Finally. The owner Dimitri is so friendly and helpful.
