We went to Nuremberg for the christmas market and just needed a place for the night. Finding spacious rooms at a good price is quite a challenge in most European cities, so this was a lucky find. It took us probably 15 mins or so from the market area. The hotel is in an industrial area so not much in terms of eating and shopping though there is an Aldi and dm not too far. 

The room was spacious, internet worked well and our stay was quite satisfactory. There was free parking outside the hotel too so it worked out well for us.Would highly recommend it for those with their own transport.

A great option especially if you have a car

The MyHome hotel & boarding house is located in an uninviting semi-industrial area in the western outskirts of Nürnberg near Fürth. The city centre is at 6kms.

The MyHome is of an unusual interior design concept with Buddha statues all over. The hotel opened in 2012 and is clean, well-maintained, non-smoking. Staffs are friendly and attentive.

Our room was spacious, adequately furnished and decorated in a hollow new-age style. It had desk, wardrobe, flat screen TV, table & chairs, a good double bed, a terrace with table & chairs, and a kitchenette with stove & fridge. Kitchen equipment can be had on request. Windows can be opened.

The separate bathroom was OK with washbasin, shower and toilet. All was clean. Complimentary mineral water in the room and free tea & coffee in the lobby. Free Wi-Fi Internet and parking in front of the door. Besides fast food no nearby restaurants.

Overall we had a good time. We would recommend this city-suburb hotel to anyone who seeks comfort at a semi-self-catering accommodation.

Hotel of an unusual interior design concept

I already enjoyed staying twice in this small hotel. It is close to my company and therefore very convenient for me. Downtown Nuremberg is at least 15 min by car; and around the hotel there is only some small companies. But around within an 8 minutes walk there is a shopping mall, including an Italian and Japanese restaurant. So the only negative point is the location of the hotel. But if you have to be in the neighbourhood, then it is perfect. 

The staff is very friendly and they take very well care of you. Most rooms are big, clean and well equipped. fresh coffee, tee and also beer are available all day in the breakfast room. Help yourself. 

The hotel is fairly new and that is what you see. Everything looks perfect and well maintained. The breakfast is fresh and everything is available. I enjoy always staying at myHome, although there is not much to do in the neighbourhood. The free WIFI is perfect in the hotel.
