We were staying at the hotel Münnich for 4 nights in May 2023 with our 3 dogs. We had contacted the hotel in advanced to check whether dogs were allowed. No problem. When we checked in, it turned to be true. The staff, from the front desk to the cleaning crew, was extremely friendly. 
The room was standard size. Our dogs, one small and 2 bigger sized ones, had enough space in the room to sleep on the floor.
The hotel is located right next to a small forest with a great walking path. There we also met local dog owners who were walking their dogs. It couldn't be better.
The big surprise was that dogs were even allowed in one of the breakfast rooms. 
There is one room where the actual breakfast buffet is set up. The breakfast included a variety of juices, rolls, bread, eggs, cheese, salami, cold cuts, jelly, cucumber and tomato as well as a well as variety of cereal. We found everything we liked and it was sufficient. 
The breakfast room across from the reception desk is the one where you can take your dog. The dog can not go with you to the buffet but the dog can join you for the actual meal. We took turns going to the buffet so one of us stayed with the dogs.

The rooms were clean, spacious, had a bathroom with a stand up shower stall, no bath tub, a chair, a flat screen tv and a small fridge. The bed was comfortable. 
The hotel is in a quiet area. 
You can walk through the forest to the main street (5 minute walk) where you find shops, restaurants and the bus stop.
The hotel also has its own restaurant. 
There was an elevator so you could access the hotel and the room with a wheelchair without any steps in the way.
We booked directly with the hotel because we had inquired about staying with 3 dogs and it would have felt awkward to book through a service afterwards. 
Checking prices on the internet we found out that we paid the same booking directly with the hotel.

Great place if you travel with dogs

We were visiting friends in Muenster for a borthday party, and this hotel was ideally located being near to their apartment. But the other good thing about its location is that within a few minutes walk you are in beautiful woodland and you can also walk along the canal. There is no traffic noise and it is perfcetly tranquil.

The rooms are unpretentious with a good sized bathroom, a very comfortable bed and adequate if not particularly graceful furniture. Our room had a balcony although as it faced the car park the view was not wonderful, although we could check on our car very easily!

The bar was excellent, as was the breakfast. The staff worked very hard to keep the food flowing and all my dealings with the hotel were pleasant and efficient. The hotel doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is - a solid 3 star hotel with good facilities in a pleasant location. It does exactly what you want it to do without formality or fuss. I was able to book it without having to hand over my credit card details and checked in so easily it took my breath away. No need to swioe my card, sign my life away or hand over passports. They believed I was who I said I was and that was enough. No, it's not glamorous but I would trade a relaxed and friendly approach for glamour any day. If there is a downside it is that to get to the centre you have to take a bus or taxi, but if we had been staying longer we would have rented a bicycle as it is only 7 or 8 km to the centre. I would certainly stay there again

Perfectly good hotel at a reasonable price in a woodland location

a very well run establishment. staff always willing to help and very friendly. great location for peace and quiet and just a small walk away to the main routes for Muenster. a great stay. Would gladly stay there again.

Very friendly

We made this reservation through booking.com in April. When we got there in July the reception lady was confused and not at all aware of our arrival - hard to believe, but they still keep the daily arrival/check-out schedule written by hand in pencil in case of cancellations! So, we just got a random room on the second floor - super small! We stayed there 4 nights and saw the other rooms sizes as people were checking out... Not sure how we got shafted into a cubicle with a 3 month's notice!
Also, we were checking out at 0500 hrs, which we wanted to communicate to the reception desk staff the night before. A sign says the reception desk is manned 0700-2300, but nobody was there at 1740! Perhaps that's a German Sunday thing....
Anyway, the breakfast buffet was amazing and pretty much made our stay worthwhile. A nice selection of cold cuts, cheeses, crispy buns, fruit and cereals PLUS a large caraffe  of fresh coffee per table - AMAZING!
This hotel is on a residential street, but it's back is surrounded by a small forest and we could hear owls before sunset. So peaceful...

Super quiet, but not perfect

This is a well run family hotel about 4km south of Münster centre. The 6 and 8 buses go to within 500-600 metres but a cab is best if you do not have your own transport.
The room was well appointed in the traditional German style. I had lunch, dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The food was well cooked and good value. The maitre d' speaks excellent English. In all, a very decent unpretentious place.

A nice little suburban hotel

You need a car or take a taxicab, no busstop nearby.
Rooms are clean, the large double bed has twin mattrasses, duvets, there is a minibar, free Wifi, more than enough room for two.  
A quite OK breakfast is included, free parking on the premises.
Haven't tried the very busy restaurant, menu not appealing.
Unfortunately in spite of notices not to smoke in front of the entrance people still do so at  night, noisy and the unwelcome smell of cigarettes in the non smoking room above the entrance.
Quite good value for money for a week-end.

Friendly clean hotel 6 km from the town center

Spent a night and slept very well! Not a luxury place, but a clean, neat and quiet place to rest. Arrived by night, close to 11pm, and unfortunately the restaurant kitchen was closed. Nevertheless, the kind waiter prepared us some breads with butter and a couple of draft beer balloons!
