After staying in the busy center of Karlsruhe, the relaxed atmosphere of this gem in the middle of a forested park was much needed. Yes, a little out of the way but if you want some quiet and nice walks in the forest, this is the place! The buffet breakfast was very nice, the room clean - and our window overlooked the deer park next door. If you’re traveling with kids, the animal park is a lot of fun for them. They can feed the deer and the “wild” pigs. A short walk away is a large park with magnificent views of the valley. Our three nights cost us less than $300 - with breakfast only $7 per person per day. When we’re back in that area, we will definitely stay there again!
