My husband and I decided to go to the Hotel Fruerlund for 4 nights in September, to visit family and friends. We were very nice, we checked in quickly. Then we rented out the adjacent rooms. These were two bedrooms each with a small flat TV, a small desk plus two bedrooms, a kitchenette and a large bathroom. I thought we would have been able to get to the hotel, but I don't think we should have been able to get away from the bathroom, but the bathroom was very nice.

Starting point for exploring Flensburg

The room was clean and tidy, but that was all that could be said about this hotel. The apartment was very restless, as it was located in the parking lot of the restaurant. When the guests left the parking lot around 10:00 p.m., the children's sleep was over again. I noticed especially negatively that the corona requirements were not complied with. Already at the reception you were welcomed without a mask, at the breakfast buffet there were also guests without a mask who were not warned, the distance rules were not observed (tables were close together, guests living without a mask at the buffet). This is very uncomfortable and not very helpful. Here the price is not in relation to the performance. The hotter staff has been negative.

Not recommended in Corona times

Me and my friend booked a room for 1 Night. We received an e-mail that the order was cancelled before arrival, due to our credir card not Worning. We takker to the bank, that told US the card was Working. 

The hotel manager told ud he could not help US and offered us a room at 10x the price that we booked for. We had all the documentation, but he told us he could not help us. So here we are with no hotel!

Just dont go here!

This is a charming, small hotel attached to a greek restaurant. Everything here is quite local, which given the high-quality lifestyle of this area is a positive thing. Expect genuine smiles and unpretentious atmosphere. The rooms feature quality interiors and fixtures and are designed in a style quite similar to what one might find in a middle-class home in the area. Everything is clean, sturdy and held in bright colors. I had no complaints and do recommend this hotel.

Genuine, charming local hotel

We stayed in this hotel on our way back to Denmark. The hotel is in the process of accommodation. The reception is not finished and the reception is in the restaurant. The room was good, clean. The price is slightly high.

In the standard

My partner and I were guests here over the weekend. When you first turn to the yard, you think, What's next? Then you drive to the yard and it's waiting for a completely newly renovated part. Immediately, the stress level drops. The car can be parked in the courtyard for free. The reception area was not yet fully finished, so we checked into the restaurant. The rooms are bright, clean, spacious and comfortable. We also had a refrigerator. I did, however, expose it afterwards because it was too noisy for me. Towels and a little shower are available in the bathroom. Anyone who needs shampoo will get a few more feet in the supermarket. Breakfast is fine. You can't expect more for the price.

Better than expected

Parking lots right in front of the room like in American motels. Modern, clean rooms with good WiFi. Very nice cartridge. Good breakfast in the new building. Restaurant Dionysos is apparently one of them (Greek). Disturbing is the highly pixelated TV image of the room TV.

This is a super transit motel.

This is a great hotel in a quiet location of Flensburg, not far from the centre and beaches (with car or city bus, stops around the corner). The hotel impresses by the excellent friendly manner of the entire crew. Both cleaners as the owner, waitresses in the restaurant or breakfast room - all have a smile and are always ready to help without being intrusive. Such a great hospitality I have rarely experienced. We were staying in an apartment. The whole facility was top. A large bed plus a 90s bed and a couch that was very comfortable. The mattresses are a dream. The kitchen is but everything is handy. The bathroom is nearby; a large, showery shower, but we hardly needed a super-friendly shower.

Very friendly staff, spacious apartments, modernly furnished and freshly renovated. Feel free to come back. The only negative is the bedding. It may be my personal taste, but I sleep better on harder pillows. The pillows at the hotel are big and flat like baby blankets. I bring my pillow with me the next time...

It's good to be back.

We arrived at the hotel after a long day of driving. The hotel is very strange and old fashioned. Once you enter you are left bewildered , there is no reception area, but a Greek restaurant. We ordered a room for five, but were given only four beds in the pretense that they do not have rooms for five. We were too tired to argue, but later saw in our records that the owners wrote they will add a mattress if needed. We were offered an extra pillow and blanket, but than were asked to pay extra for it. Very rude. The room was old fashioned too with very thin walls. Very bad Wi-Fi connection. Stay away ! definitely not recommended !
