We had a family room on the 2nd floor with beautiful views of Lake Constance. The Gasthaus is about a 15 minute walk to the center of Meersburg. The beds were really comfortable. We were really happy to have a small refrigerator during our stay. That's not something we've experienced very much in Germany. The hosts were always friendly and answered any questions that we had. The breakfast was extensive and delicious.

Meersburg is beatiful little city at Lake Konstanz - there is lot of to do and see and you can spend really nice time there. We choosed this pension as it was great deal - price/location/service. Rooms are nice and big, breakfast is great, wifi is working! and 
it´s within walking distance to the city center, car ship/normal ships. Ask in pension for Bodenseeteam card to get some special discount. Worth to visit - Mainau, Pfahlbauten. If you are with car - try Neuschwanstein castle (aprox. 2 hours with car) or Affenberg.

This is a very pretty large house a short way from the centre of Meersburg. We had a lovely large room with large bathroom, huge bed, sofa and table, wardrobe, fridge - everything you need. The room was at the front and it is close to the road with a fair amount of traffic which we heard the first night but not the second. There was a lovely flower filled balcony with a great view over the lake and mountains beyond. Breakfast was really good, served across two rooms and the terrace in good weather. We had great scrambled eggs and lovely ham, there were also lots of cereals, fresh fruit salad and whole fruit, bread, boiled eggs, homemade jam etc etc. There's lots of parking behind the house, adjacent to a large orchard - there were bowls of apples on the landings to help yourself! It's probably a 15 minute walk into the town centre which sits above a lower town with lakefront promenade. The walk is pleasant through a residential area and past pretty gardens. I was worried the town would be over commercialised because it really is beautiful, but it's not twee and is a great place to spend time just walking and sitting watching the ferries on the lake. Lots and lots of restaurants and bars to choose from, many with spectacular views. The hostess was lovely, the house was immaculately clean, and we would definitely return, albeit we might ask for a room away from the road. Just a couple of points to note - the house only takes cash payments; and if you're planning to refuel at the adjacent fuel station do it in the evening because the price is lower than in the morning!

Great weekend trip

Home from home

Stayed here for 4 nights for a trade fair. Decent choice at breakfast including fresh fruit salad, good natured service . Rather thin walls, but as the majority of guest were here for a hiking/biking holiday, nights were quiet so it didn't matter. The guesthouse is at the hilltop end of Meersburg so a good 10 minutes walk from resturants for dinner. Good view from the balcony.

Friendly old fashioned B&B

This guest house is very comfortable but is situated on a busy road so the rooms with the best views come with traffic noise. The rooms are well equipped.
Breakfast is good but the main room is cramped for space, there is an overflow room but all the food is in the main room. 
There is no restaurant on site and it is a long walk to the town where the restaurants beside the lake are located.  It is also a considerable inconvenience that they only accept cash.
