The boarding house is located in the Sahlenburg district. There is 1 km to the beach, bicycle rentals are available in the area. The rooms are clean and large enough. Unfortunately breakfast is no longer offered, but there are bakeries in the area. To the downtown there are about 7 km. OPNV connections are provided - but not often. 50% of the rooms are only via a steep staircase - when booking people with reduced mobility should ask for the ground floor rooms.

cheap and clean

We stayed there as a couple for 4 nights. The room was clean, newly furnished and the bed very comfortable. The closet was too small for us and in the bathroom there was only the mirror closet as storage, although the bathroom was huge. There was a lot to be done with a bathroom furniture and another closet. Everything was very clean. Unfortunately, it was too loud, especially through the doors to the courtyard. The guests at the hotel were very friendly. Since dogs were also welcome and there were three dogs in the room next door, we felt disturbed at night. The hosts were very friendly and also helpful and would make a very good breakfast. For breakfast 1-2 Nà we would miss it.

Clean accommodation suitable for passersby

We chose this guest house because of its proximity to the Wattensee National Park Centre and the reviews were also very good. The accessibility without a car is probably rather bad but I think a lot of people on the North Sea take the car or the council as a means of transport and for both groups it is very well accessible. You are a bit away from Cuxhaven but you can get there in 15 minutes by car. The rooms were very clean. We are very nice and brightly decorated. It makes it seem that the guest house is still pretty newly furnished. The rooms are also decorated with nice details and you feel easy. The breakfast was a good choice. The chef is really very busy with the free buffet, not very appealing, so much is left on the menu and gets to eat right on the table. The coffee house is actually a bit of a snack, and I've had a few problems with the recipe and the coffee.

Well-equipped, clean rooms and good breakfast - for mobile

At the end of June/beginning of July we, 2 seniors, had our tracking wheels advised the Elberadweg from Decin/CZ to Cuxhaven. In Cuxhaven for one night a DZ with separate beds and a relatively inexpensive one (as cyclists we prefer the inexpensive variant of the private rooms) was difficult to find months ago. 74 € incl. breakfast plus 2.80 € Kurtaxe were already a good price and we booked the pension Surround - almost 1.5 km from the beach and 6 km from the city.

Good guest house, not necessarily in beach and city areas

The guest house is in a great location, about 15 minutes' walk to the beach. The property and the house are very well maintained and are run with a lot of attention to detail. Parking is available at the house, WiFi is available everywhere for free. The rooms can be reached via a small courtyard. We lived in room 2 on the ground floor, which is very comfortable and modernly furnished. It even has a small private terrace and is bright and spacious. A comfortable bed and a great bath are very well packed. The morning breakfast is very convenient in the time rather than 8:00-10:00 and is in a fat-shaped way. It's a super nice place, we felt very comfortable.

A small guest house with 9 rooms in the EC and 1.OG. The rooms are pleasant, bright. Family business. Very clean. Very quiet. You feel very welcome and very well taken care of here. In the courtyard an atrium: good in summer. Good location. About 1 km to the beach (Wattensee). Good, although quite small 2P French bed; it is enough for a maximum of 1.5 people.;-). TV, Wi-Fi available and flawless. Parking spaces right next to the house. Extremely friendly, helpful owners. Very good buffet breakfast, rich selection, fish delicacies included. But in addition, a very good coffee  is not what you usually get (haven).

Excellent accommodation, perfectly suited for longer stays.

Very welcoming this small hotel run by a lovely and very helpful lady... a few minutes from the sea... the hotel is very new so good bed and good hygiene! breakfast served very early at our request nothing is wrong except to stop to stay there.
