The staff are very friendly, and the food is excellent.  Well appointed rooms with the only negative being very small showers.  The breakfast room has a lovely view and you are across the road from the beach.

Lovely setting, excellent food

A warm sea side resort hotel . Very clean with police staff and very nice rooms . The restaurant has great food much nicer than the surrounding restaurants . I always look forward to returning to this comfortable hotel . Fabulous breakfast ! One down side there is no coffee in the room or a coffee machine in the lobby for the early risers . A great choice for a beachfront hotel in Cuxhaven . Highly recommended . 

Welcoming 

This is a family owned Hotel with the Front Rooms overlooking the North Sea and a good view of the Shipping traffic entering the River Elbe. The rooms are modern and comfortable and the Hotel has an excellent kitchen with a Multi award winning Chef. We cycled to Cuxhaven Harbour along the ocean front with excellent Sea Food Restaurants. Also, excellent walks and cycling to the surrounding areas.

North Sea, Duhnen, Cuxhaven

Stayed here last weekend. Wonderful hotel with modern rooms. Staff very friendly, spoke English.also.. We ate in the restaurant which was wonderful. We had small children with us and they were very accommodating. Breakfast on the 5th floor with its panoramic view was excellent. Lot of choice including eggs bacon, cereal plus the usual German breakfast items. Staff very friendly. Very good stay.

Overnight stay

This hotel is located near the beaches of Cuxhaven/Duhnen.  The hotel has two towers.  The lower numbers are in the building closest to the sea and might have a view.  The second building has a view over acres of camper trailers in the company's camper lot next door.  It is close to three major city bus lines so getting to and from the Center or train station is easy.  It is 100 meters from the shore and walking or sunning to your heart's content.  The Beach at Duhnen is a tidal flat with a great expanse of black mud when the tide is out.  A better beach is 4 km to the north around the Grimmershorn-Bucht area.  There are many hotels to chose from there.

The rooms are adequate, comfortable and clean.  Breakfast is on the fifth floor of the main building and has a wonderful  view as well as a good selection of food and coffee by the individual pot.
