The property and rooms were very nice. Breakfast was very good. Reasonable price for the time of year and location. Staff was friendly. The parking was across the street, but accessible. You could have breakfast out on the patio or inside. As with most properties there was no air conditioning. Very close to the shopping area and easy to walk too after you parked.

Beautiful property

Stayed at this hotel for a Sat. night in October for a stopover on a trip through the Black Forest. Our room was comfortable and clean and had a big window overlooking the street. There isn't much to be said about Lahr's location, but this hotel was close 5 minute walk to the center of town and to the mums festival we were checking out. There's a nice Italian restaurant across the street as well. Staff were a little confused, but our German is crap so not a big deal. Overall good price, decent stay.

Comfortable room, good price

I stayed here one night during business trip, and found the hotel very nice. The room was quite standard with two single beds, where the pillows were almost to big. The bathroom was clean and seemed to be newly refurbished. The staff were very nice, and the breakfast tasty and with variety. I tried the restaurant, had the Cordon Bleu. Really good accompanied by a couple of German weissen. 

Good quality hotel and restaurant

we stay there for 5 weeks at the hotel on a business trip with my wife. our room was spacious . we paid 90€/ night including breakfast for 2. Breakfast with german charcuterie, local breads with Pumgkin seed are great. There they distribute Markus Wurth Schnapps! we went to visit and test local distillerie. a lot of learning , great experience. The hotel is also located next to city centre within 5 min walking distance. the restaurant is also great, i miss the Schnitzel when i went there last october 2014...menu change, dishes are quite big, and tasty. Great Meat...Welcome to the Carnivore...will come back there next time for sure. The boss likes antique motobikes and also usully big and nice luxury german car are often at the car park...

Nice Hotel & Great food

The bed took some getting used to as they are 2 singles in the room, but found this to be the case in most hotels in Germany.

The service was great and the breakfast was excellent as well. Worth staying at if you go to Lahr. One of the friendliest receptionist we had every meet works at this hotel.
