For traveling a half of the Earth from my hometown in Vietnam to Germany, I was staying there. OMG! The room there is so nice and everything is neat and tidy. All the staffs and owner are so friendly, helpful and super enthusiasm. I can't find any hotel that could better than this one. No matter what time of day or night, you could turn to them with all your concerns. The view was great, we could see the fresh and clean nature with all the green trees. It's so good to relax after your long working time within the week. 
The most thing that impressed me a lot is the attitude of all the people there. They are all good - hearted and kind people. I have learned a lot of positive things on my meaningful trip. 
I would stay there again and recommend it to others."

Solo Trip! A very super nice place that I had visited

The building is from the 1960s, it has certainly been renovated several times. But the origin is to note the age of the hotel. The walls are rather thin and so you can hear the neighbors very clearly. Through the slope you have a beautiful view of Bad Driburg. We had booked a half board, breakfast was sufficient, dinner was rather spicy. Kindness is good. During the day you can pick up your drinks in the SB area. On request you can determine your room cleaning daily. For the unclean there is a free drink, or 3,--€ per day will be donated to a charity club.

A Place of Peace

We have been to this hotel several times in the last few years and always enjoy it. It is family-run, you feel comfortable quickly. The rooms are good to very good depending on the renovation condition. If you wish you can have dinner, there is no restaurant in the real sense. For self-service there is the possibility to use a small community kitchen, as well as a large community room where drinks are offered on a trusting basis (you can write down what you eat). Breakfast is very varied and wishes such as Cappucino are happy to be fulfilled. The hotel is located a little outside of Bad Driburg and is raised. The walking distance from the train station is about 15 minutes.

Family-run hotel with super breakfast

I was out for each of the three days of my visit, leaving before 8.30am and returning early to mid evening, so no hope of meeting any deliver service in their normal hours. I was expecting a delivery from a supplier for me to bring back to UK with me (saving me quite a bit of money that way).

The hotel staff took-in my delivery of 8 fairly weighty boxes and loaded them into my car as well, saving my dodgy back!

Not only did I not have to hang around waiting for the delivery (and could get on with my business) but the hotel staff could not have been more helpful, and this has been my consistent experience here.

Helpful - going the extra mile!

...at an open balcony door I really did have - which is a testament to the quiet location of the hotel. It is not far (about 1.5 km) from the huge Grave Park - one of the main attractions of the sleepy town. The building looks a little less sad and sober from the outside than from the outside. The inventory is quite old-fashioned - but for that it is lightning-clean. Small bathroom, large enough double room with spacious balcony and great views. Good price ratio, breakfast included.

A nice quiet hotel that is friendly and set in a very location over looking Driburg.

Nice tidy rooms and a basic but sufficient breakfast. Staff are friendly & helpful.

Business Trip

Very delicious varieties of cakes and waffles. Very delicious coffee offers in various variations. Very quiet and a very great service and very beautiful view!!!! Very nice service!! We are very happy to come back.

Birthday party

In addition to the good criticism of the rooms, I would like to emphasize in particular the family atmosphere and the great service. There was no wish left unfulfilled. The breakfast buffet was very extensive with different types of bread and bread, a sandwich with very different varieties, yogurt, quark, different cereals, to tomatoes Morzarella and salmon. Not to mention, of course, the sweet things like jam, honey, etc. Because you could get a good night's sleep and start the day well. Finally, there was the three-course menu book to be prepared, delicious and rich. The staff was indisputably available at any time. I would also recommend this hotel at any time, especially critical, even further.

Hotel of comfort: Nomen et Omen

I have had occasion to visit Bad Driburg 5 times over the past 18 months and each time stayed at Waldcafe Jaeger. They could not be more helpful and accommodating - not just on return visits but first and every time. E-mails are answered promptly; even if they do not have a single room free, they provide me with a double room at single price - any problem is their problem and not a problem for me. If I'm arriving late, they ensure easy entry. They've even called me on my mobile whilst I was out at dinner in order to ascertain if I required an early breakfast (which I had in the past) and they'd make sure it was available. Others could learn a lot by their attitude!

regular visitor

We stayed for 5 nights and have also opted for the HB. The hotel was not what I expected. I cannot say I was impressed by the food as well. 2 nights we dined out of the hotel and we enjoyed that way more. If you are looking for peace and quiet - this is the place. The rooms are not particularly big but they have great balconies with amazing view. the rooms look a little better than the rest of the hotel where everything looks a little old and overused. We enjoy just wandering in the woods and the location of the hotel actually gives access to a nice route or two. The owners are great, very welcoming and supportive. We had a little accident with our pet on a late Sunday night and they did help us out a lot to over come the situation. We are very greatful. 
We were not only the youngest couple in the hotel but also in town. We didnt know that the town was preferred destination by the more mature citizens. Despite we had a nice, relaxing time and enjoyed ourselves.
