This B & B has amazing views and is very close to the center of Sarlat. Our host Jacques was very helpful, and made us a very good breakfast both mornings we were there.
The only downside was that the bath and toilet were down the little hall, which could be a problem for some.

Beautiful Location close to Center City

We chose this place to stay because we wanted to be able to walk to bars and restaurants in the evening, park safely and access the area by car in the day. It ticked every box. It is not really a B and B, hotel nor apartment. You have your own rooms within the family home. Such a lovely couple. The owner is very knowledgeable on the region. He gave us an itinerary for each day. We both speak French, so we were able to benefit from this. We did not have breakfast, because we like to get up lazily whilst away. Tea and coffee making facilities were enough for us. Very quiet area but a few minutes walk to town. Loved it.

Peace and quiet so close to town centre

Got lost when trying to find via Sat Nav (TomTom).  Google maps found it when the address was put in rather than the GPS co-ords.  Knowledge of French would be very useful as the lady owner's English is very limited, but the the male owner's English is good.  Parking is right outside the property, which is a plus in Sarlat.  Rooms are a little old fashioned and no air-conditioning.  However, you are entering the world of a passionate collector of African furnishings/collections and the house is overflowing with memorabilia from the owners' former workings in Africa.  The terrace is very large and provides wonderful relaxing views on an evening after a long and hard day of sightseeing.  You do need to remember that this is someone's house that offer rooms and lodging rather than a hotel and you pass through the owners' lounge area to access your rooms.  Not en-suite, so if there were two sets of guests in the property, the shared bathroom and toilet facilities may be awkward.  Location wise, it is a short (15 minutes) walk into Sarlat town centre and more than walkable for anyone with reasonable fitness.  No air conditioning makes for rather warm nights and there was only one noisy fan supplied.  The rooms were pleasant enough and functional, but nothing spectacular and the TV facilities were non English.  Free WiFi was provided with good coverage.  Breakfast was prepared by the male owner and was personalised and was a wonderful start to the day.  So, to summarise, excellent location, adequate rooms (not en-suite), relaxing terraces for views/sunbathing, good parking, Wi-Fi, good breakfast.  Great for a 1 or 2 night stay, but not for much longer.

Excellent location and wonderful breakfast - but the rooms need modernising

A warm and nice welcome, very nice and helpful landlord couple. 
Rooms were integrated into private living space - you need to walk through the landlords living room up the stairs, the bathroom is accessed via the aisle. Rooms looked more like abandoned former childrens rooms than B&B-like rooms, not very comfy, poor beds.
Very nice grounds, pretty terrace with nice views and a 10 min walk right into the city centre. 
Quite pricy compared with room size, furnishing and functionality in other B&Bs.
