Hotel correct

Overall was good. The staff was very kind. We had a problem with the booking as we booked for 3 adult and expedia gave us a Double room, the hotel gave us an extra room for the same price, bevause we couldn't fit 3 adults in only ones.

A descent budget option for those not needing luxury. Not too far from the city centre, rooms were clean with the basic comforts. Shower curtains are in real need of a replacement. Nice little sitting area out back serving breakfast, with fast wifi if you're happy to pay 5 euro.

It is not bad for one night if you have a connecting flight. I took the shuttle from the airport and the hotel is within walking distance. The area seemed safe. Yes, the room is small with a tiny shower and shared toilettes, double bed, A/C configured to 24 degrees and cannot be lowered, TV with 10 channels, a small tabletop, a mirror, sink and the balcony with a table.
Staff doesn't speak English at all. You do have to leave an ID for the remotes. Check out at 10am. WiFi only available at the terrace and not for free. Breakfast for a small fee too and quite simple.

Not bad for one night

We were getting into st Dennis pretty late at night and leaving for st Leu really early the next morning so we didn't want to waste money on a room we weren't really going to use for long. We got in late, so used a taxi, who charged us €25. There were hookers out on the street when we pulled up, but they backed off when our taxi driver yelled out to them in French (probably going, "wasting your time! a mom and daughter in here!"). We wanted to watch the women's world cup game, but the TV didn't work, the nice staff dude switched us to a different room where it did work. You have to leave a credit card or driver's license at the front in exchange for a AC + TV remote. Remember to grab it on your way out. To get a taxi back to airport to pick up our car, he called what I think was a friend, and charged us €15. Fair enough about the taxi prices, they were crazy high all over the island (we were warned of this which is why we rented a car). Room was basic, small, seemed tidy. Would stay here again for another quick night, but if you're staying a few days in St Dennis, would recommend searching elsewhere. A single night, its fine. 

One word of warning: I would ask for a room that is not on the first floor: Our first room was on the first floor, and it had a balcony, but the door didn't lock right, and it was within easy climbing up distance, which made us nervous. The second room was a floor up, and the lock did work, but it was also much higher up, so if your lock doesn't work, I'd say that higher is better for safety.

Oh yeah, and there was no getting the wifi to work.

It's a 35€ room, that is what you get

But its not a terrible place, its clean, it got a kitchen. You dont find anybody arround if you need something, but still, i have seen much worse places in Africa. And its not easy to find cheaper digs in reunion.

The price is low and thats what you get.

This place is DISGUSTING. This not a hotel but seriously a brothel in all ways (I really mean it).

The photos shown all across the web and booking sites are all very erroneous. The place is dirty. The rooms are small, not even space to move around. The rooms are stinky. There is 1 common toilet for 6 to 10 rooms on each floor - toilet broken and very stinky. They have tried to retrofit rooms with shower and some only with a toilet but this retrofit is a complete failure.

One of the guys sitting at the reception is very rude. They are not welcoming at all. 

We had a booking there from our travel agent, probably very heavily being misguided by these guys and photos. The only reason why we could secure a booking there for a large group of people is only because the rooms are always free. Nobody would want to be in such a place. We did not even spend a night there. The hotel did not even want to refund us. 

While our package was a full board one, when we queried for lunch about arrival there, the guy said no lunch provided. When queried with our travel agent, only then they agreed to provide lunch but they charged us. These hotel people are CHEATERS.

I have noted on the hotel website and also on booking plaforms that the hotel is NOT children friendly. So it is very clear why children are not allowed there.

I wonder how this place still is being advertised on all booking platforms.

Anybody looking for accommodation in St Denis, please do not fall for this trap. This is not a place to stay even for a single night.

DISGUSTING

Very gross. Stay at your own peril. Bathroom is shared. Of course it states in the description (buried in the description). Very, very poor. Receptionist was digging his nose when he touched my ID

Avoid! No bathroom attached!

I stayed only for a night and I paid 65€ and online was from 35€ but i get only a hole. It was dirty,mold everywhere,the AC was broken and for that they said sorry and gave me breakfast(coffee,butter,jam and a croissant),for Wi-Fi I had to pay. It's the worst place I've been.They don't speak English. I do not recommend this place.I put a photo below,that's the entire place captured in a picture.
