Résidence Pierre & Vacances Plagne Lauze

Stayed here with my husband in a room that was meant for four,we paid the reasonable upgrade fee from a room for two, the bigger room was perfect for the two of us, but I doubt the smaller room would have been as comfortable. Spotlessly clean and great value for money. Bus stop, spar and restaurants all across the road. A 5 min walk to the lift and ski school. The ski locker room was perfect but we brought our boots up to our room so they could dry out fully. We had a beautiful view of the valley in room 431 (3rd Floor). No lift, but it didn't bother us. We had a bath in our bathroom which was a welcome addition. The pool was nice, we only used it once. The sauna was crowded as were the private changing rooms but nothing we couldn't handle. Reception staff we nice but they were closed for most of the day (open 9am -12pm and 16pm -19pm.) which was annoying on more than one occasion when we needed help from them. Our TV did not work, but we didn't miss it. The kitchen was great for cooking basic meals. The WiFi was completely none functional for 4 days of our stay as the reception staff failed to give us a log in on check in and then were not there when we went to ask about it. Then we were told it was out of service for two days. Once we got the WiFi working it was more than adequate. I would suggest that this hotel needs invest in motion sensor lighting in the communal areas. The timed lights are not safe as they time out while you are on the stairs or trying to get ski boots on. It is incredibly frustrating stumbling around in the pitch darkness trying to find the light switch. Apart from minor inconveniences, I feel this accommodation offers excellent value for money in a great resort.
