We found this gem of a small hotel after a terrible experience with a rental booking that we could not access because the automatic door to the building was malfunctioning-our keyfobs would not open the door! It was raining and we were advised another hotel but found the Dauphin on the way. The young man who was the night clerk and signed us in was friendly and professional. Charlotte, who was working in the morning gave us invaluable advice and help in telephoning the booking agency. She really went out of her way to help us. To wind up: a clean, well-located, cheery hotel with a lovely breakfast. We would stay there again and highly recommend it. The staff gets SIX stars!
