Stayed here for one night after taking an evening flight from the UK to Tarbes/Lourdes, en route to nearby Pau for a football match. 

The location is perfect as its on a junction in the heart of things. There is an optional breakfast for 6€, but we opted to go to the café next door and have croissant and coffee for half the price. 

The room, while small and basic was perfectly clean. The ensuite was a decent size and the shower was excellent. 

The mattresses were a bit worn. They could have been worse and weren't completely uncomfortable, but they could do with being replaced.  That said, it wouldn't put me off using the place again.

Perfect for a cheap one-nighter

I am astounded this hotel gets any business at all. We picked it for the cheap price but would have been wise to pay an extra £10 for somewhere with a better rating. The rooms are filthy and stinking. If it’s warm, you stay warm as there isn’t even a fan. It took 30 mins to check in as the staff triple as chefs, bartenders, cleaners etc. The man who eventually checked us in was nice. The rest of the staff including a female (I think it’s a family run outfit) were rude and horrible. I absolutely warn people Not to stay here. For a few quid more there seems to be vastly better. 

Disgusting in every sense

The only reason I give this hotel any rating at all is for location, other than that it has to be one of worst places I’ve stayed. Room was filthy and staff very disorganised and rude. Upon checking in we had to go searching for someone as the reception is unmanned. After asking at bar they told us to go and wait and proceeded to leave us for another 20 minutes.  Can’t comment on food as wouldn’t use restaurant after seeing state of room, dread to think what kitchen is like!!! As for advertised free parking this is just public parking on other side of bridge and you need to be quick to get a space. There are plenty other budget hotels in this area and I highly recommend you look at some of them instead

Avoid at all costs

Firstly there was something on the bread (obviously from the previous persons meal). I asked for it to be changed, she just took the piece away. My dinner arrived, then no one else for ages, the children's pizza arrived and my husband's took a good half an hour to arrive.  When my chicken and chips arrived, the chicken was very dry, it had obviously been cooked and kept warm for ages. The dessert was actually nice. I suppose chicken and chips with a dessert for €6 was asking a little too much.

Rubbish

I visited here with 6 friends on a motorcycle trip. The food was very average but filling and reasonably priced for the town and location. The moules and roast chicken seemed to be the favourites in our group and their red house wine was very pleasant. The service was friendly and efficient.
