120 reviewsThere were 23 in our group of 4 families of young and teenage children and adults. We had a wonderful trip from start to finish. The chalet is incredibly beautiful in its original rustic design, and the setting in Bessey is spectacular. Each apartment is different but all delightful. The entrance to the apartments is not from the communal areas but rather each have their own doors. The three smaller apartments can be linked internally, or not, as there are double doors that can be locked on both sides. The loft is stunning with an extra large living area but does not benefit from the three toilets, 1 bath, and 2 showers that is in Les Rousses, which is surprising since Les Rousses has less beds than the loft. The hot tub was great fun in the evenings and the water is changed each Friday for new guests, so is in use Saturday to Thursday. We all enjoyed plentiful breakfasts laid on by Lois and Damien who brought us up to the slopes each morning, in the Chalet minibus, on time for the children's ski school start at 9.10am. We were extremely well looked in the evenings by the excellent and professional Karen and her boyfriend Nikolas who cooked us delicious evening meals, after providing cakes and hot chocolates and coffee for immediate apres ski and then charcuterie and cheese and pickles with pre-dinner drinks. The smoked salmon and champagne mid week was another lovely surprise. This place is a real treat and we hope they keep it as well as this as we will definitely be back.
