Excellent bijou venue, wonderful owners (Martine and Gerard) and a friendly dog.
A 20 minute walk to the tram and easy access to Lyon.
A huge cathedral, access by funicular or foot!
Superb restaurants, wlne shops and Beaujolais just down the road.
What more could you want!

This B&B is one of the best B&B's I have stayed in, in my many years of travel. The decor is very modern, tastefully decorated and spotless. It's in a lovely quiet area and every morning, you hear the birds singing in the beautiful garden. Breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. Towels, beds and toiletries are replaced daily.  Very comfortable bed and great shower. The extra 5 stars, however, go to the owner, Martine. I have never met an owner than does SO much beyond what is expected. From picking us up and dropping us to the local tram several times, to making us food, providing endless treats, booking tickets, giving out maps and suggestions and even washing clothes, amongst other things. She is truly an amazing host and I was sorry to leave after 5 nights. Just brilliant.


We have had a lovely few days at Biscotte, and been so well looked after by Martine. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and Martine gave us loads of excellent advice on places to visit & transport options,  as well as restaurant recommendations. A great place to stay with a warm welcome, excellent breakfasts and location too. Thank you !

A very nice chambre d'hôtes, with renovated rooms, simple but with a particular taste. Martine is a perfect host: she gave us a lot of touristic informations about Lyon...every day a new plan. She prepared fantastic breakfasts with home made jam, croissant, particular bread, pain d'epices, fruit salad, and so on. The house is close to the tram station and you can reach the center of Lyon in 15 minutes (tram T3 and metro). Very recommended!

We travelled to Lyon for an exhibition at Eurexpo but, having decided to do so a little late, found that our usual cheap places to stay were fully booked or had doubled their prices. 
We found Biscotte on the internet and a quick look at the Trip Advisor reviews convinced me to book... well, let's just say that this will from now be our place to stay for these exhibitions!!

Martine is a fantastic host. Before opening, she has worked in hotels and it shows: her purpose built B&B is very well thought of, with small little touches that take the place to a different standard. Martine also bends over backwards to accommodate you (even waiting until midnight on our arrival when our flight was delayed, offering to pick up other guests at the local station and even ironing my partner's shirts when we only asked for the iron!). 

It was also nice to talk travels with a fellow adventure traveller... and this is where the inspiration of the decoration comes from: the rooms are simply but tastefully decorated to reflect a far away place. The place is spotless and welcoming. 

There is a small kitchen with fridge, microwave and some crockery, if you don't fancy going to the restaurant every night. Breakfast is good with choice of coffee or teas, pastries, fruit salad, juices and eggs.
