A bit of an old fashioned htel, but clean, comfortable, and friendly.

The staff was very welcoming and more than helpful. When we found ourselves in a bind because we needed fuel and the only  service stations open were automated (which don't accept American credit cards), the hostess went with us and used her personal credit card to get us on the road again. (We paid her back with cash.)

Agnes was amazing. Phoned ahead to say we would be delayed and arrive after front desk closed. Quickly sent a text to me detailing room no. Room code and wi-fi code. Took pressure off us on our late flight. Next morning she gave us some free coffees as we missed breakfast. A bubbly super friendly and helpful lady. Directions, iron borrowing etc. Room clean quiet cool (41 degrees outside!)Cleaning staff all running around motivated and efficient. Thoroughly recommended.

Great value and quality

Rooms are small, true, but nice and clean and quiet and confortable. Service is excellent and very very nice. Simple motel style lodging which we were lucky to find and book. We stayed 3 nights and we will return hopefully.

Recommended as affordable, out of town and simple lodging.

Excellent choice as a base to explore the area

this is a lovely clean comfortable bed hotel,yes the rooms are quite small but all you do is sleep in them, the receptionist was very welcoming,plenty of onsite parking and nice surroundings. The big minus point for us was there is absolutely nowhere to get an evening meal,the hotel provides breakfast at a charge but no restaurant,the nearest place is a fast food hut about a mile away,there is a carrefour hypernarket again about a mile away but no cafe,sarlat is the nearest place to eat,so if you are visitng eat before you return to the hotel.

spotlessly clean well kept hotel

We were 2 mature couples who were disappointed with the place we had booked.  We needed somewhere to stay the night whilst we regrouped and found an alternative.  We dropped in unannounced quite late in the day and were greeted by a lovely lady who provided us with 2 adjacent double rooms.  The rooms are basic, tv, bed, shower etc.  Everything was clean and in good repair.  The WiFi was very good and, although on a quite busy road, the room was very quiet.  The beds were brilliant and I slept like a log.  Breakfast (charged separately) was adequate for us as we are not cooked breakfast eaters.  Croissants, pancakes, fruit, yoghurt and the coffee was good.  We only stayed one night as we were looking for self catering accommodation but  if I was travelling around France  I would not hesitate to stay here.  Thank you Abbys.

Just one night

We came on Saturday morning for breakfast and it was really nice, was hot presented well and promptly with a polite waiter,and barmaid who served us our coffees overall we had a very nice meal and will certainly be coming in the future 

Food

This is a lovely hotel a couple of miles outside Sarlat.

Its modern, clean, & extremely good value.

Rooms aren't as big as some we've stayed in but are more than acceptable, & include wall mounted TV (no English channels that I could find) En Suite facilities, Air con, Hair drier & free Wi-Fi.

They seem to operate a 3 tier pricing structure based on high, low or mid season. We arrived late October 2017 & paid 51 Euros for a double room for 1 night. Breakfast was optional & 7 Euros extra pp if you went for it. We did. It comprises an 'eat as much as you want' buffet menu with various cereals, croissants, breads, fruit, hot & cold drinks etc. Well worth the 7 Euros.

They don't provide other meals but there is a restaurant within walking distance (literally 100 yards across the lawn). A tad expensive but lots of other options if you're driving (Sarlat centre is about 10 minutes by car).

A thoroughly enjoyable overnight stop while we did some of the touristy things that the Dordogne is famous for.

Good value, friendly staff (who speak English), clean modern accommodation. We will no doubt use it again when touring that area.

Great stopover

We couldn't find a place in Sarlat without paying $150 or more. Many B&Bs were booked up . I found this place and it is very close to Sarlat. Very nice staff, comfortable bed and clean room on the ground level. They have breakfast for an additional charge. This is like a motel. Nice not to have to lug your stuff upstairs for a change. I would stay here again.
