This place is just gorgeous. The gites are modern, clean and very comfortable. Proper squishy sofas. Smart bathrooms. Soft beds. Neutral decor. Had a fabulous time here with our children 8 and 10. Lovely heated pool with sun beds and umbrellas. Lots of games and equipment for kids to play with. Table tennis, swings, swing-ball set etc... Hot tub nice for the adults. Kitchen was very well equipped - each gite has a dining table in lovely garden area with view out to paddocks and horses. And a little table at the front with views over the pool. Fantastic country walks directly from the property. Hospitable hosts. Peace. Quiet. A little oasis. Close to beautiful beaches. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Go!

Beautiful, family-friendly gites.

We spend a week at Le Domaine du Ganquis and we found the location quite nice. It's quite and the pool is great. The overall facilities seem to be quite some years old now and now very maintained. Wooden furniture and floor on the terrace is starting to rot. The described barbecue places are totally broken and not useable. The furniture shown on the official pictures at the barbecue side are gone. The cooking utensils and dishes are available but not of the same model and not very well cleaned. The biggest downside was the cleanliness - or should it say the not-cleanliness - of the house it self. There was really a lot of dust, spiders including spider nets and other little bugs in the house. Going to attach some pictures so give an impression. We will definitely not stay here again and we find it sad that such a nice place seems to be left over to itself now not maintained anymore. We observed the hosts removing great (as seen on older pictures) flower beds and replacing them with some ugly wooden partition walls and that seemed to us as every possible maintenance work should be circumvented.

Belz itself is a quite nice and tiny but very rural and silent village. Great to spend a self-serviced holiday but not good to expect a lot of opened restaurants.
