We had a pleasant one night stay here. We enjoyed the modern kitchen which enabled us to make dinner and breakfast. My kids enjoyed the alpacas and donkeys which were on their farm in back of our apartment and the playground. We also used the laundry machine and Lena, the host, helped us with the drying of our clothes. She also provided us with some homemade butter and cheese which was delicious.

A beautiful apartment set in lovely countryside; it has convenient parking and very friendly and helpful hosts.  The apartment was very spacious and very well equipped with microwave, oven, grill and hob in the kitchen as well as kettle, coffee maker and fridge. I was surprised to find in addition to the usual items a washing machine.  There was a lovely courtyard with private sitting area; throughout was a hot air balloon theme and a homely feel that sets it aside from your usual apartment.  There was heating and air conditioning in the room; it was very quiet aiding in a restful night in the very confortable bed.

Very nice place. Cozy, felt like home. The owner was friendly and took care of us like family.

Well if you want to find peace in the middle of nowhere yet with amenities a short drive away, this is your place! Outside the door you can walk through pastures and vineyards under a big sky with little light pollution at night! Some might find the morning braying of the donkeys something negative but my wife and l loved it and them! Inside was cosy and comfy with everything to hand for cooking and for lovely relaxing meals together! Checking in and out was easy and fast ! The only negative point was the Wifi which was sometimes rather poor!

The middle of nowhere!

What a FABULOUS property in the most beautiful area of France. From the moment you arrive you are at home - Lina has anticipated everything and the Gite is clean, well provided and comfortable. Nothing disturbs the tranquility - only the donkeys, owls and occasional cockerel can be heard. A great location for exploring the chateaux of the Loire - Chenonceau, Amboise and Chambord are all at hand and the sparkling wine cellar trip at €3.00 per head (refunded against purchase) is the best value ever. Highly recommended for a short break 3/5 nights. Follow the balloon to the launch venue and experience the spectacle of the take off - or book ahead and take a flight
