As soon as you sent through the door you are made to feel at home
It's a lovely family run hotel restaurant.
Clean and well kept.
The staff are very friendly.
As for the restaurant...service excellent ET food very good.

So welcoming

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. We had a triple room on the top floor, and even close to the lift, it was quiet. Room basic but ok. The top floor was smelling the new, I guess some work after the flooding last june.
We didn't use the pool, it was a little bit cold, and we heard we couldn't dive because the water had too much chlorine, and they have to empty it.
The restaurant is really good. A good choice of food, for a good price for this quality!
We only thought the staff was a little unfriendly, maybe too busy. However, the maitre D was really friendly, it was a good point!

Yes, I agree that the hotel may need some updating etc. but the quality of the service is second to none!  The rooms were cleaned every day and the bed linen was changed also EVERY DAY !.....We never have had that kind of service, even in 5 star accommodation. The food was EXCELLENT and from a very varied menu. Set menu prices ranged from 12.50 euros, to around 28.00 euro's for the  a'la cart menu & and you can choose from all for the same meal. A wide choice from the bar also. All prices were very fair considering it is France. We will definitely be staying again the next time we ski in the Pyrenees............. Within only 40 minutes of some good ski stations....Lourdes only 10 minutes away too!

Very friendly and caring staff & owner

The staff were friendly and the views were lovely.  We stayed for 2 nights in a double room.  On arrival the room smelled very stale and was in desperate need of a facelift.  The sheets were clean but the rest of the room definately needed more cleaning, there was animal hair everywhere.  It was obvious that this hotel hasn't had any money spent on its upkeep in a very long time.  The breakfast was poor and not worth the money, although dinner was nice.

Facelift required!

A good place for a short stay, didn't use the pool. Place is clean and the food and service were very good. Nice bar, drinks reasonable. 
Only minus was the shabby state of the balconies, wooden which had been repaired with steel angle irons and were in sore need of renovation and a good paint job. It gives a bad impression of the place on arrival.
