Place for a relaxing holiday in Skopje, where you can choose whether to spend time in an urban environment in the city center( just 2 km from the hotel) or on the green slopes of mountain Vodno. I am particularly pleased to be able to come with my pet. In the immediate vicinity of the church of St. Panteleimon, walking trail to the middle of the mountaine Vodno  and cableway leading to the Millennium Cross on the top of the mountain. The friendly and courteous staff  take care about all your needs. Clean rooms and impeccable Internet connection characterized  this family run hotel .The owner Mr. Branko will tell you some interesting stories about the history of Macedonia, secrets of the mountain Vodno and  of the City of Skopje.

Place for a relaxing holiday in Skopje

Lovely small art hostel with lots of smile.

We found this place when we were looking for a place to stay with our small dog. The hostel is pet friendly, so it picked us . 

The owner is very helpful and friendly, offering useful advice on what to do and see. He exchanged local money and you can ask for coffee or tea at the lobby if you want. 

The owner is a very interesting artist who reads and writes a lot. If you wanna exchange information about Macedonian history, he is the person and this is the place. All hostel is full of his paintings and mosaics.

A bit away from center (maybe 10-15 min walk) up the hill road - you get a chance to see real local life. The neighborhood is very safe and clean, you wake up with the chickens.

Definitely recommended and we would stay there again. And even if you are interested, the owner may take you to some nearby monasteries and a small pyramid.

Family Place

Family run lovely hotel with excellent service. Former house of US Ambassador, it has a history, charm and tranquility, quite basic but has everything you need & it's non-pretensious.

The owners are very helpful and friendly, offering useful advice on what to do and see. They booked us a taxi on multiple occations, exchanged local money and you can ask for coffee or tea at the lobby if you want. 

A bit away from center (but still 10-15 min walk) up the hill road - you get a  chance to see real local life. But considering taxi in Skopje is 1,5EUR = 100dinars, its really no issue.

One last thing - the owner is writing a book about history of Macedonia and is definitely someone interesting to talk to if you want to know more.  

Definitely recommended and we would stay there again.
