I loved staying here. Food was great and staff made us feel welcome. Can't beat the ambiance for chilling. Lots of hammock and pillows and a cool pool area. Was pretty quiet in July, so we bascially had the place to ourselves.

Great camp

Camping is nice, a many of beautiful flowers around, there is a pool and hammocks. Service is good, people are attentive. 
Badly - in some bungalows the rooftop was leaking, paid wifi, expensive restaurant food.

It was a new experience for us to live in a wild place

This camp has a lot to offer. From the common area, the friendly staff and proximity to the red sea. There is a gorgeous riff you can snorkel by, and the food is decent.
There are a few accommodation options to choose from, all basic and adhere to the spirit of the sinai region. Nuweiba is 15 minutes drive away, but there is a supermarket nearby in case you need provisions . 

Great Sinai Experience

Beduin star is a hybrid between old-school Sinai beach camps to a new aspiring to be a more modern place. 
The place offers online booking which isn't common for the small beaches. 
You can select between a simple hut, a bungalow with a balcony - which is basically a  slightly different version of a hut, and a room with a private shower. 
We went for the most simple hut, cause I see no point in paying more for something not really different. 

To get there: it's about an hour drive from the Taba crossing. The best is to get in touch with Bedouin Star and ask for the contact details of a driver they work with so he will pick you up at the border. Best way to communicate with driver is by sending voice messages as they don't read so well English. 

Prices include breakfast which is very good, basic eggs, salad, local cheese, and tehina.
The place also has a small swimming pool, very appealing for children less for us.  
Wi-fi is only available a few hours per day. The place has running electricity and fans in the rooms. 
During our stay, the place was packed - as it was a holiday in Israel. The staff despite the over crowdedness was super nice and efficient in its way. The public showers and bathroom were clean yet it was difficult I guess for the infructuose to contain so many guests and a few nights the smell of the sewage was really bad. 
The beach camp isn't very wide and has a lot of huts, to us it felt too crowded. 
Food was very nice and fresh, avoid the meat and focus on the fish. Be aware although some prices seem cheap some things are not. 

Snorkeling: There is a beautiful reef not far from the beach. The best way to enter is to walk about a hundred meters south where there's a clear entrance to the water, you can swim without having to step on the reef, avoid damaging it and save yourself the unpleasant encounter with a sea urchin. 

To sum up: I think the place is good for families with young children. Double check the calendar and if you can avoid visiting during Israeli big holidays. 
Make sure your hut or bungalow is first or second to the water.

The food, facilities, quiteness, the amazing corals and the beautiful tress and flowers make this place so special... The staff is amazing.. so kind and welcoming! We will be back for sure! We had a great time !
