Baoase Luxury Resort

My family owns a company where we basically clean tile floors in a number of restaurants and hotels. Because of this, growing up I was able to stay at a few pretty fancy and up-scale hotels that I would never otherwise be able to stay at. Usually we only stayed for a few days, and we were usually working at night and sleeping for most of the day. Still, it felt nice to visit somewhere that felt like a glimpse of a world that I was not a part of. When my parents invited my wife and I to go to with them to Baoase for a special occasion, I assumed it would be like the various fancy hotels that we had cleaned floors for in the past. I was EXTREMELY wrong (In the best way possible). In short, Baoase is the nicest and most luxurious resort I have ever been to in my entire life. It is a glimpse into a world of luxury and comfort that I have never known before. The staff was always kind and thoughtful, thinking of my own needs before I even thought of them myself (I befriended one of the guys working on staff, we send messages on What's App every now and then!). Whether it was scheduling a taxi for when we went into the city or thinking of possible hiccups that we might encounter as we would be leaving the resort/country, I can't think of a single bad thing that happened at all during our stay. The entire resort is beautiful and kept constantly clean and tidy, the beach is great and the water always feels like it's the perfect temperature. The food is fairly expensive (I would recommend the dinners verses the lunch specials), but the dinners had a presentation that matched the level of luxury and up-scale-ness that felt like I was in a James Bond movie or something. A couple of times we thought "maybe we should go and see the sights nearby," but we always went back to "but Baoase is so great, why would we want to leave this!?" My wife got a manicure from Julieta (My wife loved her manicure), and all of us got a massage from Fabiola (Really awesome). Usually whenever you experience something exceptional, it becomes the base-line for any other comparable experience. For me, Baoase is the high-bar in my head for "the best of the best." My wife and I live in Bolivia, and when we discovered a really nice hotel, we said "We found the Baoase of Bolivia!" For me, Baoase truly represents high level luxurious living. It is the best place I have ever had the pleasure of staying at, hands down.
