What a magical resort! We loved our bungalow! Having a small kitchenette was great. The beds were so cozy. The outdoor area was incredible at night and in the mornings. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful.  The wild pigs in the morning were the sprinkles on top!

Beautiful!

We stayed in this hotel and we really liked it. The location is great , near very nice beaches. The rooms are basic but they have everything you need, including a portal fridge to take cold drinks to the beach. The hotel is surrounded by a park, it s beautiful and quiet. We also enjoyed the beach at night. The stuff is also friendly. Highly recommended. If we are back in Curaçao, we will stay again in this place.

Quiet and beautiful place and great location

Very nice park with clean pool and helpful local host. You will receive many tips on where to go for a beach day, where to eat and where the best diving instructors are. 

All rooms are perfectly air conditioned and very clean. The iguana's, leguana's and birds are on your balcony if you leave them some food.

Nice and private bungalow park

Flamingo Park is a really nice place for visiting the north of curacao and the beautiful natur there. The park is self is a very green and privat place you share with less other people. You get nice and clean bungalows with every thing you need to life also two swimingpools. There is also an big parkinglot on the ground and you can easily enjoy an very quiet place. Every morning except sunday you can have a coffee with the hostfamily and get very helpful tips for your trip. To visit the island you need to get an rental car.

Much Nature and nice People

Loved staying at Flamingo Park! The cute houses are nestled into nature, connected by little winding cement paths - just beautiful. It started to rain and dozens of iguanas came down from their trees to sip water from puddles. Amazing!!!!!  The pools/spas are just lovely and the houses are full equipped and just perfect for a short or longer stay. Very secure (locked and gated) and simply perfect. Excellent!

Nestled into nature. Gorgeous, private setting.

We spent 4 days at Flamingo Park. It is a very nice place, quiet and surrounded by nature. You will get total privacy and peace here.  The whole complex consists of a series of separate units. Each unit has two apartment type accommodation. The units are all spread out and totally surrounded by vegetation so that privacy of each is maintained very well. 

Each apartment has a living area, one or several bedrooms depending on the size, a kitchen that is fully equipped, a bathroom and a open deck area. The bathroom has all the linen you need, but there is no daily linen service. The rooms are all fully furnished and are equipped with individual air conditioners. You don't really need the AC as all rooms and the main sitting areas have fans. The whole complex has a pool and a hot tub in the premises.  There is free internet throughout the premises, there was a portable radio/CD player, but no TV in units.

Armand the owner, his wife, and the whole team is very friendly and makes you feel welcome as soon as you step into their world. When you arrive, he will explain to you how everything is setup, the surrounding area, what to do, where to go to eat and any other information that you will need. Every morning (except on Sundays), they will provide coffee at the main office/meeting area so that the visitors can meet and get to know each other and talk. 

As it is deeply embedded in nature, the place is full of birds, iguanas and butterflies. You really feel as if you are close to the nature here. Unfortunately it also means that there are bugs and flies. We did not experience that many mosquitoes but there were the tiny but pesky flies that were buzzing around anytime you stepped outside. They are particularly active during the early morning. However, a bit of bug spray kept them away. So do not forget bug spray if you are coming here.

From a location point of view, Flamingo Park is within 15-20 minutes of the beaches of Playa Portomari, Daaibooibay and Cas Abou.  It is also very close to the salt marshes of Sint Marie where you have the wild Flamingos. There are a couple of good restaurants around, such as Karakter at Coral Estates and Dokterstuin (within 15 minutes driving). The location is also within easy reach of Playa Lagun and the other great beaches at the western end of the island. So it is a pretty nice central spot to explore that part of the island. It is also not very far from the population center of Willemstad so that you can get there in a half hour if you ever feel the need for a more urban night out.

All in all, very nice place. Don't come here if you are looking for a five-star hotel with all the facilities. It is a very basic, but very pleasant, ecologically  thought out place that will give you a nice experience that you will not forget.

Beautiful, peaceful and quiet

I like this place very much. There is lot of privacy. The mornings here are awesome and very beautifull. There are lots of bords and lagoons. Every morning they come by honderds to your apartment. The staff and owner are very helpful and friendly. Its a beautiful place. Its little bit far from the city but u get to see different parts of the island. Its a very safe place.
