Just stayed 4nights here & what a lovely room. At the heart of the Old Town next to & overlooking the sea & the Old Roman Forum. Great breakfast, dont be put off by the 5min walk to the restaurant. Quick mention for Milena. Very lovely, helpful & a real assett. EVERYTHING about Zadar is "fabulous". Will return.

Lovely Room.

Overlooking the Forum, and situated close to the beautiful township of Zadar with the waterfront also nearby, Tinel is a fun place to stay. Our room was very well appointed and felt like a fun place to be. Our hostess, Anita came and rescued us when we got lost arriving in Zadar and Eva was a charming hostess at breakfast the next morning. There's no onsite reception but that certainly wasn't a problem and the Tinel restaurant was a short walk away if help was needed.

The apartment is right on the Roman forum in the old town of zadar so it's in a brilliant location. The booking describes it as a sea view which although if you look right around the corner you can see the sea, it's not exactly a sea view!
Although in the additional info it's not made totally clear you have to check in elsewhere at the restaurant so we arrived to a locked area and couldn't get in! The cafe below helped us out and someone arrived very quickly. The apartment was clean and tidy with all facilities. The breakfast is a short walk away but lovely.

Great location

The apartment is located adjacent to Roman forum and promenade in the beautiful old town of Zadar. Due to a flat tyre, we arrived several hours later than planned, it wasn't a problem and we were met at the Tinel Restaurant and then shown to the apartment. The apartment was clean, comfortable and tidy with all facilities. The breakfast is a short walk back to the restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We spent 4 nights (sun - wed); in this modernised and well appointed 'apartment' with wonderful view of roman forum (square). Don't be put off by the rather unpre-possessing building (which must have been built in Yugoslavia days) of which only some have been renovated. We had very peaceful, quiet nights - with still weather so didn't experience the 4 am music on a sat night! It was the seagulls that woke us with their croatian screeching - but we were fine about that!.  It was advertised as having a sea view but that's a bit of licence as you have to lean out of the window and look right to see the Riva and the agean water.  We were told (on asking) that the room was serviced, but it wasn't - altho' that didn't matter really.  The broken towel rail in the bath room was not fixed (as they promised to do) and there is no kettle socket on the worktop above the fridge - but these are very small things and didn't spoil our lovely time in Zadar.  OK you have to walk a bit to get breakfast but on 2 days, we were leaving early (5am to go to Plitvic Lakes and 7 am the last morning to drive back to Dubrovnik) and they gave us a packed breakfast which was great.  The restaurant owned by them is also lovely and we very much enjoyed the 2 meals we had there....and the live piano jazz (even tho' he had to stop every now and again while the over-loud tourist music penetrated down the street from the National Square!). We were lucky to get free parking in a non-tarmac parking lot just by the entrance to the building - on a first come, first served basis - which saved us heaps of money as parking in Zadar is very hard to find and VERY expensive. (4Kn an hour minimum when we visited)

Centrally positioned and chic-ly decorated

The room here is good and this place looks fantastic on booking.com. You'll think you've arrived in the wrong place as it looks like a tired apartment block and there is no reception. The location is superb but be warned, on Saturday nights there is extremely loud music played until 4am. We had no sleep. You have to check out by 10am and walk 300m to breakfast where you also pay. The parking at the site is difficult and our vehicle was damaged. If you stay try find a space on the road.
