If you are looking for the perfect location when spending a night or two in Veli Losinj, you would be hard pressed to find a better one than Pension Saturn's.  It is directly on the tiny, yet picturesque harbor and main square of the town.  This may prove problematic during peak tourist season due to crowds and noise, but in mid-May, it was just about perfect.  There was no noise from the harbor and not too many people milling about, so it was quiet and easy to reach.

The 3rd floor room itself was nothing special, with a bed occupying pretty much the entire room.  It was clean, but a bit tight.  The bathroom was likewise small, but functional.  We rarely spend much time in our rooms when vacationing in Europe, so we don't mind smaller ones.  We did have problems connecting to the WIFI in our room, but had no issues in the lobby or the outside bar.

The hostess was very friendly and the breakfasts each of our two mornings bountiful and tasty.  She also provided laundry service at reasonable prices, which is always handy when traveling.  

Downstairs is a very popular bar with outdoor seating where locals and tourists gather to enjoy a beverage, people watch and soak-up the views.  

Veli Losinj is tiny, so it is just a short walk to the attractions, and the pathways leading to Mali Losinj and Rovenska beach are just a few steps away.  No doubt, location is Pension Saturn's major strong point.

Room was a little small. No view. Bathroom was also small but functional. Only problem was the air conditioner that wasnot working. I ask twice at the reception, they try to repair it, it works only once, and again it didnt work. They talked about some magnet, in the end it didnt worked at all. Breakfast was ok, not so many choice. Location is very good, very near the harbour. Price was also nice, good value for the money.

The miniharbour of Veli Losinj is idyllic and the Pansion is right at the harbour. You are not disturbed by noise of the church. The breakfast is great. A lot of restaurants nearby to have dinner. Staff helpful and speaks English ( except cleaninglady). Clean room. The pansion also has a roofterrace for guests and a nice bar to have a drink. We parked our car at the edge of the town for free and walked in 5 minutes tonthe pension. We walked by the walkingpromenade to Mali Losinj and took the bus back(only six tmes a day)

This review is for the bar downstairs right on the water. Very local, free wifi (only place with free wifi on that side of the island). Always got great service there. Nice local fee. When Croatia is playing soccer/football matches, all the locals are here. Good vibe.
