Such a lovely, beautiful, clean place.  It's settled in city centre, close to everything we needed. Our host Ines was very helpful to advice us what to see, where to eat and where to go to see some beauty's and to have some fun.
I recommend to everyone. 

Lovely place

Beautiful modern studio apartment just a block or so from Diocletian’s Palace! Very Charming. A comfortable bed. Love the stone accent walls and bight light interior. Laura is a great host. We Plan on staying again in a few days.  

We lucked out

Hotel Laura was conveniently located just a short 5 minute walk from the old town.

We arrived quite late (after 9pm) but this want a problem for the owners who checked us in.

We had a room in a two bedroom apartment with a shared living room/ kitchen area with the other guest room. We didn’t have an ensuite but did have a clean private bathroom (the other room had its own ensuite). We didn’t see the other guests very often but I guess this could be awkward if you are expecting your own private areas. Particularly since our bedrooms “bathroom” was located at the other side of the second bedroom. So no privacy waking to and from the shower, across shared areas.

Room and bathroom were clean though basic. There was air conditioning which was a god-send and noise from the street outside was minimal.  There was WiFi, plenty of kitchen equipment should you decide to cook (we didn’t) and a nice terrace to sit out on in the morning. 

Overall, it was fine! Cheap, clean and cheerful.

Pleasant two night stay

Stayed at Guest House Laura for one night. Location is excellent, just on the perimeter of the old town and 10 mins from port and main bus station. We had a well appointed studio, quite small, but with absolutely everything we needed - excellent shower, air conditioning, fridge and small hob with everything you needed to cook a meal. The outdoor terrace area is a lovely place to eat once you have cooked. Check in was very friendly - one thing to note is room must be paid for in cash. All in all we were very happy with our choice. 

Nice studio, great location 

Guest house Laura has several studio flats in a converted old house.it is situated in the western part of split 10 minutes walk from the riva accessed by Marmontova St and about 5 minutes from the north gate of Diocletian palace. It is in a quiet area but close enough to the main areas of interest. There is a Tommy supermarket 2 minutes from the flats and a great little pizza place next door. My flat had a basic electric hob and all the necessary China and cutlery also wine glasses and a kettle. I didn't cook there but bought pastries for breakfast and sat out on the  little terrace outside the flat. There are 'bistro' patio table and chairs to sit out in the evening and enjoy a drink.The owner is on site, friendly and easily access able. Ines gave me lots of tips about Split and restaurant where to eat. A nice budget place quiet but with easy access to the centre

Great little place

The apartments are small but nicely appointed - not sure how easy it would be to cook in the kitchenette but there is a fridge and a job and a sink. It is very conveniently located for walking into the old city walls being only 25 mtrs or so away. However be warned Payment is in local cash only, which is not advertised or mentioned in their policy on Booking.com.
