In terms of where Simply Chic was located, I'm not sure there would be many better accommodation options in the Old Town. That's important to remember when reviewing everything else in the apartment, especially the price. 

The apartments are basic, with pretty much everything you need. The cleanliness I admit, we did expect to be a bit better and we were unfortunately only supplied 1 bath towel and about 10 hand towels, but overall we were happy with the service we got based on the price we paid.

The old town's 'chicness' is applied to the apartment too, with the simple decor and slightly ambiguous entrance – could do with a sign outside perhaps? The check-in and check-out procedures suits us without necessarily having to meet with your host and really it's just a place to sleep, the real holiday is in the city, that's why the location is number 1 here.

Location Location Location

The location is the only positive about this apartment. Located on a quiet side street in the heart of the old town. 

The apartment does not match the pictures as advertised. The host was unable to meet us on arrival. The entrance to the building is an eyesore and the front door is regularly left open. The room itself is  very small and basic. The room appears unfinished and could be a lot cleaner. 

The facilities were poor, not even a safe for your belongings. A fridge is used as a bedside table.There were no toiletries provided. Minimal room around the bed. 

Would not recommend. 

Disappointing

From the pictures I decided to take a chance on this newer property in old town.  While the location is fantastic, and our particular room size was large, that's where the good things ended.  The bad:

*Broken AC
*No TV
*Stiff bed
*Scratchy towels
*Incommunicative owner.

The owner wrote to me explaining that he had to be away for a funeral, which I completely understand, but host duties should be delegated in that case. I tried to get in touch over parking, the broken AC, check out procedures, and literally never heard back.

Great location, otherwise bad

Dubrovnik is over priced, extremely busy.
This apartment amounts to a bed in a room.
The entrance is not well lit.  The bathroom is barely the size to turn around in. No tv.   One very small towell.
Not at all happy with this overpriced room.

Not worth it

Issues with finding the place
Air Condiitioning didn't work, whch was a disaster. Asked management to fix it , they did nothing
We couldnt sleep it was so hot
All other rooms had the same problem
Issues with everything
DONT GO HERE!!!!
