Hotel Gardenia Tamarindo

Hotel Gardenia is a little gem. The hotel is only 5 rooms around a pool and well kept garden. Elisia, the manager is very friendly, VERY helpful, answering questions about where to go etc. The hotel is close to town, but just far enough away from the bustle. The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. The kitchen has a coffee maker, tea pot, kitchen equipment and a fridge., enough equipment to cook a full meal or stock yourself just for breakfast and lunch, shopping for all you need, just down the block at the supermarket, which carries fresh bread and pastries daily. Also down the block, less than a 5 minute walk is some really great restaurants. The beach is about a 6 minute walk.if you have children, there is a playground next to Bula, a great pizza place. You can not go wrong here. we will be back next year..
