Nanjing Grand Hightown Hotel

The hotel is very well located in the centre of Nanjing, about 60 metres down a side road off a main road with lots of buses and about 100 metres from Xinjiekou Metro Station where you can get both Metro Line 1 and Line 2. The side road is rather narrrow, and taxis might find it difficult to find, or be unwiling to go down it, but the result is that the hotel is quiet and the side road is opposite a large branch of the China Construction Bank and there is a University Bookstore on the corner. There are two foreign language bookstores on the main road, a Xinhua between the hotel and the Metro station and another about 100 metres eastwards. There is also a shop selling imported food items near the side road to the west. The hotel breakfast is very reasonably priced with both Chinese and some western food available. We would definitely stay here again.
