Veee Hotel

I spent USD50 for a night stay in this beautiful boutique hotel. My only complaint: One night was just too short! There's no MRT or LRT in Huizhou. So the transport is merely by taxi. If you search on Google map, it's not very far from the Huizhou Train Station. Of course you need to take a taxi. This hotel is located just in front of the Huizhou Xi Hu (惠州西湖) or West Lake. The main entrance of the West Lake is just across the street. You just have to make sure you get a room with balcony and facing the lake. Believe me, the view is fantastic. Check out my photos! Veee Hotel was located among a row of shops. On the left was a jewellery shop. After the jewellery shop was a wet market. 100m to the right was McDonald's, further right was 步行街 (walking street). There were discounted cloths and shoes for sale in the evening. After McDonald’s, further down the street was another wet market. The locals were buying meats, vegetables, fruits and breakfast there. One serving of noodles: RMB1.00; A 16oz cup of fresh soya milk: RMB1.00. No breakfast was provided by hotel. There was neither café nor restaurant in the hotel. Rooms were renovated, thus beautiful, new and clean. No wifi in the room. Only LAN cable. It was a broadband connection with 4Mbps speed. Toilet was new and clean. Other than bath towels, hand towels were provided. There were also disposable toothbrush with toothpaste and comb. My room has two queen size beds. Although it’s a two person room, I have checked with the reception that 4 person can stay within the room with no extra charge. I have stayed in rooms larger and nicer than this, but this room has the best view ever!
