Located on highway far from the island the hotel provides comfortable stay, good breakfast Good service, well mannered staff and tidy rooms. Though the island takes another 30-40 minutes by car which is a disadvantage. Other vantage points are this has multigym, swimming pool, sauna but no Jacuzzi. Located around good food joints like Chipotle and Mcdonalds which are actually walking distance.

We were visiting on business and needed to stay overnight at Chun'an. This hotel was extremely convenient. aGAOOD PROPERTY, THOUGH SLIGHTLY OLD, BUT VERY WELL MAINTAINED. wELL APPOINTED ROOMS WITH SMILING COURTEOUS STAFF.
Real value in terms of tariff and good breakfast.
Enjoyed the stay, with the location in right middle of the city. Good shopping around also.

Stayed 4 nights here last week, on business. Next door to much larger New Century Hotel where I stayed 2 months ago. Review is from a Westerner perspective. 
Pros: nice breakfast buffet where they will make egg omelettes for you, clean and reasonably quiet rooms with extra room keys to keep a/c on during absence (especially hot summer months), comfortable beds with choice of firm or soft pillows, proximity to lake and nearby shopping and food outlets, gift shop in lobby area.
Cons: front desk staff speaks little English, no recognition of IHG loyalty status (if that is important to you), hotel is packed on weekends so plan meals accordingly. The biggest problem - at least in the room I was assigned - was the a/c simply would not get the room cold enough...running the thermostat 24 hrs a day at lowest setting resulted in a 76 F degree room temperature at best.
Despite this inconvenience, I would stay here again!


Came to this HI at V Day, just for complete the Big Win promotion.

1. location is good, not far from the center of this town, but no view of the lake at all.
2. Service is good, welcome fruit is better than Beijing and Shanghai HI.
3. The price is OK, if you want to enjoy the lake view, this HI may not be your best choice, but if you can pay for the transportation cost, then this HI can be your option.

Decent hotel for business stay

Meet the standard of Holiday Inn

This hotel was decent. The pool and gym facilities were good and the bedrooms were okay - comfortable beds but dated decor. I stayed for three nights but found myself rather hungry near the end of the trip. My diet whilst staying here consisted of noodles in soup with a little soy sauce. I was not prepared to eat chicken bum or pig trotter, sorry but this is not a favourable diet for someone like myself. This may just be my western naivety but the food was just not to my liking. 3/5 overall experience.
