Wonderful owners that are great cooks and very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and well equipped and the pool is very nice. Would definitely recommend for  families or couples. It’s also very quiet area.

We couldn't be any happier or more grateful for having stayed with Helene and Eric, what a fantastic, loving and funny couple! They certainly made our very short stay in Mindelo one to remember. You have all the amenities one could ask for from a hotel, with the kindness and care one would find in a family's home: picked up at the airport by a friendly and helpful taxi chaffeur (arranged through Helene), a quiet and beautifully decorated bedroom with a much needed mosquito net on a comfy bed, a pool to refresh after a long warm day, a fridge filled with cold beverages (additional charge), a chat by the bar with tasty ponche served by Helene and an even more delicious dinner prepared by Eric. 
This was the perfect stay for us, away from the buzz of the city and we can only hope to return soon!! Merci bien, Helene et Eric!

Great place to relax in quietness of rural Mindelo

The rooms are comfortable and our hosts Helene and Eric very helpful and gave us a sketch map of the island with suggestions of places to eat and things to do.
We were grateful for the mosquito net one night as there was a persistent fly.
Breakfast on the verandah was nice with eggs cooked to order - we didn't try their evening meals but ate out at various places which was fun.  
We had a hire car - the way to the guest house is through the "bush" on sandy tracks so don't expect a paved road.   No problem.
We chickened out of the pool, but did use the fridge of drinks and the wi-fi.  Many thanks
