9 reviewsI spent 4 nights in Vilas Praia Chaves with my boyfriend in August 2017. It is like your own small paradise :) You have your own bungalow on the beach with very comfortable bed (just too hard pillows), air condition, fridge, free WiFi and free phone to use when you need it. The view from the window is just amazing! You have 10 meters to the sea...it is just perfect. The breakfast was included, you have to walk for around 5 minutes to the bar/restaurant located on the beach and just the waiting time was a bit too long. Also, you could either choose coffee or juice (would be nice to have both) and only sandwiches were served (no eggs which would be great). They organise various evenings with local food and music (however when the evening is organised, you cannot have a proper dinner and the alternative is a trip to the closes small town which is around 30 min walking and not always bars are open). Also, to get to Sal Rei you have take a taxi as it is too far to walk and that is 10 euro one way. If you want to have piece and quiet and be in your own litte paradise, it is definitely a place for you! We loved it and we can recommend it with pleasure :)
