Lovely spot. We stopped in after our third day cycling along the "veloroute des bleuets" and were exhausted. The room was simple and beautiful. The owners are super sweet and helpful.  The owner had made this homemade cake with strawberry jam on the bottom and chocolate sauce on top that was so delicious. I am still thinking about it.

Great Stay

We started our cycling trip around Lac St. Jean in Saint Felicien and appreciated the location of Banville House right on the bike path.  The B&B is situated in an older house with plenty of antiques.  Our room was on the second floor and was a good size with a private bath and a view to the river.  We were able to leave our vehicle parked here while we spent 5 days riding around the lake.  Breakfast was good and the coffee was plentiful.  When we arrived we were provided with a map of town on which a number of the local sights and restaurants had been marked.  Very helpful.

Great Location on the Veloroute des Bleuets

We stayed here one evening as one of stops on our recent bike trip around Lac Saint Jean.  The room was clean, well furnished and quite charming.  We had a bedroom with a bathroom attached so that was nice.  It is an old house that has been converted to B&B and bistro.  The bistro attached is also fantastic with the best coffee and lunch in town.

Great place to stay after a day of riding

Lovely ambiance in the heart of Saint-Félicien! Simple, yet tastefully decorated with all amenities. Confortable, modern and cosy too. Good breakfast with local flavours. Great bistro attached, highly recommended by locals and offering delicious gourmet food.

Nice find!

It's a lovely house in the middle of town and our room was very comfortable with it's own private bath.  The back of the property  has a grassy bank that slopes down to perfect views of the river and two nice deck chairs to enjoy the scene.  A young couple, David and Aurelie, run the B and B, and the wife is the cook in the attached  Cafe.  The food there was gourmet. We had soup and sandwiches for lunch, but with the delicious  homemade soups and tasty combinations of fresh breads, cheeses and meats, sandwich choosing was difficult.  When we decided that we were going to have a wine,bread and cheese picnic for dinner (great bakery and cheese place across the street) they provided us with plates, napkins, silverware, wine glasses and a tray to carry it all.  I accidentally broke one of the wine glasses but it was no big deal for them, wouldn't hear of me paying for it.  Our breakfast the next morning was also superb, with waffles and family-made maple syrup, fruits, croissants, chocolate cake pieces, juice and unlimited good coffee.  They also took the time to carefully label our wine- filled duffel as fragile when the driver picked it up for transport to our next hotel (we were on bicycles.) They also speak excellent English, which is nice if your French is weak.
Couldn't recommend a better place.
