We stayed at Chez Hubert Nov. 23-26, 2023 and loved the place, the breakfast and the location. The owner, Marjorie was very helpful and replied to any questions that we had very quickly. Luca, who checked us in and who was available all weekend, was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. He also prepared a delicious breakfast each morning. The place has an old world charm with a common room on the 2nd floor where guests can mingle or just relax. We played some cards and shared a glass of wine. Everything within Old Quebec is within a 10-15 minute walk. We enjoyed the place so much that we already want to plan another trip there. Steve and Mary

Great Stay!

Excellent location for exploring by foot. Hospitality was great. Delicious breakfast served each morning and really enjoyed the coffee & pastries. Marjorie is a fantastic host accommodates your needs 

Great location and great price 

6 of us booked a couple of nights here for our first trip ever to Quebec City.   What a fortunate choice.    The old house was beautiful and spotless.   The bedding was comfortable and Shannon went out of her way to make sure that we felt welcome.   She was very knowledgeable about the area and the breakfast was outstanding.   I would highly recommend Chez Hubert to any of my friends.

Great service and hospitality

We enjoyed a very good sleep in this old house that holds this B&B.  Beautiful old furnishings and woodwork!  Breakfast was delicious and the carrot cake was scrumptious!  Shannon looked after us very well!  Merci Beaucoup!

Wonderful!

This is my first time to book a Bed & Breakfast and it did not disappoint me!!
The place is amazing esp. the location! Walking distance to almost all tourist spots in Old Québec!! Can't beat that! 
Marjorie and Aurelie are very accomodating! French toast is sooo yummy!! Will recommend this place to my friends and family! 👍🏻

Nice place and excellent location

Excellent location within the old town, second street after entering through the gates. Close to all major attractions. You enter through the stained glass doors of this centuries old house and are greeted by Marjorie and are shown the house. On the main floor is the dining/ breakfast room. Everyone eats at the same table so there is a lot of interesting conversation in English and French. Upstairs is the public living room- the wifi worked better in here than in our room. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are always available as is a small fridge. Our room was on the third floor, up a spiral staircase. No carpet on the second to third floor but the stairs were not slippery. Our room was comfortable and had a small balcony. The bathroom was modern, towels were thick, shower quite small. We didn’t find it noisy but if there were noisy guest this might be a problem. Breakfast was great- meat, fruit, vegetables, breads homemade jams ( try the apple butter or dulce de lèche) and then French toast, omelettes, or pancakes. Cereal also available. Friendly staff. You feel very at home here. There is a friendly cat that wanders around- of note if you have allergies. 

Comfortable and homey

Our host Marjorie was very welcoming and very helpful specially making out reservations. Her staff Jennifer & daughter Elona were just amazing. Their breakfast was a piece of heaven. The room was very comfortable & talk about location location location right in old city was perfect. My wife & I spent four nights & were magical. Can’t thank Marjorie & her staff enough, celebrating our 48th weeding anniversary could not have been a more perfect B&B & City.

Chez Hubert, B&B

We have stayed for two nights at Chez Hubert for Canada Day long weekend. Our host Marjorie was very welcoming and very helpful. The house is conveniently located within the walking distance fron the majority of Old Quebec places of interest as well as restaurants. Breakfast was great, again, special thanks to Marjorie. Overall, it was a great experience. Will definitely recommend.

Very charming place in a great location

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean, good breakfast, air conditioning in the room, parking included and best location! Mini fridge and microwave available in the shared area. In a quiet street. 200m from Château Frontenac and Citadelle.

You’ll love it!!

A beautiful B&B in a beautiful location.  We were so well looked after and the breakfasts delicious.  We stayed on the top floor in a room with 2 beds and a balcony (where we would chill our drinks and keep our ice-cream in the snow which was a novelty).  There wasn't a fridge or kettle in our room but we enjoyed going down to use the facilities in the common room.  We would love to come back to stay again one day.
