The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Everything worked as it should, and the location is great. It's right opposite the entrance to the beach and close to Tofino.
When we made our reservation, we informed Maria that we did not eat meat and one of us was vegan, and she said this would not be a problem. It was acknowledged in writing on our confirmation email. However,  after our arrival, she asked what we wanted for breakfast and had not remembered our request. She seemed to be unable to understand and was confused that we didn’t want bacon (!). We reluctantly accepted eggs benedict for breakfast, (not vegan!) as it came with fruit and pastries. Then, on day 2, we were informed that pancakes were for breakfast (again, not vegan). The plates showed up along with sausages. We explained again that we did not eat meat, but it spoiled our breakfast.

I really don’t understand why people working in the hospitality industry (for more than 20 years in this case) are unable to understand what "vegan" means. It's your job, so please find out! 
If you are unwilling to meet our needs, please say it when we make our reservation and we can go elsewhere. If you really don't understand our requirement, please ask for clarification from your customer and we can explain.
It is the 21st century, and many of your customers prefer not to eat meat. It's not a strange request and will only become more common in the future.

This problem overshadowed what would otherwise have been a lovely short break at a very nice location.

Great location, good room, but breakfast was a problem for us.

Stayed for 1 night. Room with bath and streamjets. Separate bathroom, electrical fireplace. Extra bed. Sitting corner. Very cosy and comfortable. 
Service by Maria, the housekeeper was great. She prepared a great breakfast for us with everything to it. 
Just a few steps away from the beach with great sunset.

Romantic and hospitality guaranteed

This is a wonderful place to stay whilst exploring the local area. And it's probably the best B&B that I've ever stayed in. Maria greeted us with a beautiful smile. The room decor was tasteful and colourful, it was spacious, beds were large and super comfy and the bathroom had a jacuzzi!.  I wasn't expecting that!! 
Not quite sure how to describe the amazing breakfasts that Maria provided. They were ABUNDANT to say the least. Something different every morning, lovingly cooked and presented. 
The B&B is directly opposite the north end of Chesterman Beach - literally a couple of minutes walk away. And what a beautiful beach it is. 
If you want some fine, high end dining whilst you're staying there, The Pointe Restaurant at the Wickinninish Inn is just around the corner. 
I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Just lovely!

Outstanding!

What a wonderful place to stay while visiting this magical place. John and Maria were incredible hosts. The room was spacious, had all that we needed and more even for our dog Addie. The breakfasts made by Maria were top notch. John the proprietor was so welcoming, offering up great recommendations for where to eat and things to do as well as full of great stories. When we come back, this will be the place to stay again. You should be very proud John for this lovely place you and your wife created!  

Home away from home feel right by the ocean1

Best B&B I have ever stayed at! The rooms were amazing - we booked the Santa Fe and the Portside. They were both spacious and perfectly clean. The bathrooms had a big bathtub with jets, which was an added bonus. The beds were comfortable and the rooms themselves were beautifully decorated.

The breakfats was out of this world! Maria made the most delicious meals, always accompanied by fresh pastries and fruit salad. She was so kind.

Overall, a great stay located near the beach and not too far from downtown Tofino. Hope to stay here again soon!

Absolutely amazing B&B

Wonderful place, spacious and comfortable. I stayed in the port side before and this time in the Santa Fe. 
Port side (my recollection) has a king bed and a little more room. The Santa Fe has a queen and and a single bed and still quite spacious. Both rooms are well appointed and with its own bathroom. 
John checked us in. What a charming gentleman. Maria greeted and served us breakfast. What a feast. And she is also very friendly and wonderful. 
The BnB is directly across from the parking lot of Chesterman Beach. You simply cannot get any more closer or convenient to the beautiful beach. 
My wife and I truly enjoyed the weekend.  Thank you and will be back. 

Relaxing weekend 

Stay here recently and was very pleased, the room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and cozy, nice big bathroom with a huge jacuzzi. Lots of windows to hear the ocean waves and the birds. Just a short walk to the famous Wickannish Inn. Maria was so accommodating with my dietary needs the breakfasts were amazing, delicious lots of food. We never left the table hungry that’s for sure! The best part of our trip was the beach is literally across the road. We were lucky enough to have a clear evening fro watch the sun set over the ocean, beautiful. This is a must and the Seafarer B & B is definitely the place to stay.

Great location

B&B is in a fabulous location just across the road from a beautiful beach, but you need a car to get into Tofino for dining in the evening.  We did not meet the host Maria throughout our 2 night stay, we had two early trips booked so we were left a bag of breakfast, that was nice, however, with only 2 rooms I believe flexibility of breakfast time could be offered.  Breakfast is at a strict 8.30am.  Our trip was 9am so we could have had breakfast at 8am, but this was not offered.  You had to take your shoes off in the property and wear provided slippers.  The room was very dated i.e 1980s with a radio/tape machine and does need bringing a little more up to date.  So all in all, a disappointing stay.  It could be fabulous given the position, but it was not for us.  I would not stay here again.

Strange Stay

Just stayed overnight, wish it could have been longer.  Nice big room and huge bathroom.  Hosts were very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions.
In the morning there was a delicious breakfast waiting for us to start the day.  Very happy with our stay there.
The beach is just across the road and you could hear the waves from the room.

Wonderful Stay

It's just opposite a huge beach and is very quiet. Rooms were large with a big bathroom and coffee and tea making on the landing. There are just two rooms. Breakfast is a bit idiosyncratic - with John the father producing a plate of hot food that changes from day to day- huge portions plus a lovely fruit salad.
We enjoyed the breakfast company with the other room's people. You need a car to get to Tofino but there is a bus I believe. Very dark at night so we enjoyed the stars.
