Bay Vista Motel

I was a little disappointed when I first walked in - it is an older property, and things looked a little small and worn. The walls were fine but there were paint drips on the bathroom floor. But: - I quickly realized it was just the cosmetic stuff that didn't matter - the photos in the listing were accurate - we had plenty of room for our 4-day stay - everything worked and was very clean - important stuff that you interact with like the bed, sink, toilet, shower were all newer and in great shape - the grounds were lovely - owners and staff were very accommodating - the guest laundry facilities were great - it was very quiet there - wifi was great - breakfast was pretty simple but decent, in a lovely room - did you see the price?! (At least at the time we went; you will have to compare) If it was the price of most of the hotels we've stayed at, I'd rate it a little lower. But we got everything we needed, enjoyed it, and got such a bargain compared to other places nearby that I feel they deserve full marks. The walls were a little thin, the pillows were only so-so, and it would be nice to have more space in the bathroom. But that and minor cosmetic stuff is all I can find to complain about. We were happy.
