Mad monkeys in PP is a very cool hostel. I stayed for 6 days in total. The food is very good and all the staff are really nice. Soso is so much fun. Domrey and Sopheak do a great job behind the bar!  

Best hostel in PP

Really good hostel, lots going on, comfy with good and friendly staff! I only stayed one night but we played some games and went out! Lin made the night eventful and fun by constantly getting us all involved throughout the night

Good Hostel as all reviews said that. The only thing you have to aware that this is a party Hostel so you can hear music even at midnight. The pool was not so big, I just wonder if they change the water or not.

So we actually ended up staying here on 3 different occasions  over our whole trip. We didn’t intend on doing so but that’s how it ended up being and luckily we were not upset by returning. Firstly the reception are very welcoming when guests arrive and leave. Must say a massive thank you to Sophhorn (soso) she was absolutely lovely and very friendly with a great humour! We did a few tours with mad monkey here including the killing fields which you must see but is awfully sad, and the walking tour with the hostel which was so much fun. It was very clean and a very social hostel. The bar crawl was really fun and showed you some Cambodian nightlife. Prices were reasonable especially with alcohol and the multiple happy hours. They also have lots of food deals including a free drink beer or soft. Overall great stay comfy beds and lovely staff.

Good fun

nice hostel for joying and making new friends. They had a lot of activities from tours to pool party.  The only thing that I didn't like is the pool so many pp and sometime they didn't keep it hygiene  enough .

It can be improved. Some of the people from the staff are really nice, some others are not. The private bathroom of the room was huge and the room was clean and comfy; on the other side, it is very loud on the ground floor all the time during the night. I think this was the only hostel (together with the Mad Monkey in Siem Reap) in South - East Asia countries I visitedwhere they asked me to pay in order to refill the water bottle. And they don't even have breakfast included, even if it so not so cheap compared to other places. I think you can do better.

To be improved

One of the most social hostels on our trip. They have activities every night so you get to meet people, the staff was lovely, the manager was super helpful and friendly. Good facilities and comfy bed. They also organise killing field tours and buses to various locations. It was raining when we went so we didn’t get to explore the food around the area much but the food at the hostel was great!

Amazing hostel with a fun environment. It was very well organized, and the staff were incredible. The tours were great and incredibly easy to organize. They also have buses that pick you up from the hostel to go to the next destination. 

Amazing place

Dont ever book mad monkey hostel stay, the house keeping staff are thieves and your personal belongings are never safe here. 

I lost my apple watch from the room and upon tracking, it was very clear that the house keeping staff after cleaning the room took the watch with them and was travelling towards their home. 

I complained to the hotel staff and there property manager Philip. They were not daring to even question the house keeping staff and were very casual about my loss. 
They didnt even show me the CCTV footage and were covering for the house keeping staff

Its a completely unsafe place if you travelling with valuable items. 
If you are travelling with just a bag pack then you may give it a try. But please please dont travel with valuable items.
