we stayed in The Blue House in September 15. we were 4 in a big room and paid 14$ a night. the room was big and very clean. great AC. nice balcony outside of the room and a great pool table down stairs.
we didn't eat here so I got I have nothing to say about that.
the erea is a bit far from the center of the city (2$ tuktuk drive) but the neighbourhood is extremely nice.

good value for money

The quality of bedroom furniture is very good but need hangers for your  clothes. 
Good staff and excellent  coffee machine.
Good western menu at hotel food brought in from nice cafe next door.
We picked wrong time for quiet as it was cambodian  new year celebrations but only till 10.30pm.

Nice  place

This guest house is the worst place that I stayed in during my ten country tour of south east Asia. It is very unclean and unhygienic guest house. My wife discovered dried blood on the shower and next to the bed. Due to the limited lighting and dark alleyway, it was not safe in the evening. There was several dogs freely roaming the streets. This is a little disconcerting due to the risk of rabies. 

The room was full of mosquitos and in the morning, my arms and legs had several insect bites. However, this could have been a reaction to the thin mattress as it was not clean. We left after after one night despite originally paying for three nights.
