MPM Sport Hotel

We just returned (family of 12!) from a week long stay at the MPM Sport Hotel. Overall a very pleasant experience in a hotel that you can tell really values its guests and knows how to provide service with a "can do" attitude. Pre-Trip: As we were traveling as an entire extended family and were looking forward to family time together, I had spoken with the wonderful Kiril at reception to request rooms together and on a high floor. When we arrived, all was sorted as we requested. Location: Perfect! Its right next to the Gondola and was convenient to everything (restaurants, ski shops etc.) Rooms: very pleasant. We had a family room which had a separate "parents" room and then the main room which contained another bed, a pull out couch, a kitchen (mini fridge, stovetop, sink and cabinets) and a coffee making station/tv. Bathroom was very nice as well with a tub/shower and a heating rack which was great the end of a ski day to dry items. The room also had a nice hallway with a coat/shoe rack which was perfect to store our ski jackets/pants and shoes. Breakfast: really nice dining room that is bright and overlooks the gonola/mountain. the buffet was really extensive and delicious. Very fresh and quality. The servers also come to bring coffee/juice. Spa/Pool: Lovely facilities, well maintained and felt great at the end of the ski day! Ski Room: was fine for our needs. There are basic racks for Boots/skis/Poles and there was always enough room. Service: this is really the standout for this hotel. There were a few minor hiccups along the way (as in every hotel) and the staff really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and accommodated our needs. Everything is done with a "can do" attitude, which is rarely seen anymore. For example, we had an early flight out in Sofia and had to leave the hotel by 7 am (well before the breakfast opens). The hotel opened the buffet for us specifically at 6:30 am so that we could eat before going on our way. Very much appreciated! Overall, we had a wonderful stay at MPM Sport hotel and thank you very much to Kiril and all of the staff!!!! Would certainly stay again on our next trip to Bankso!
