Villa Flamboyan is part of Pau Brasil which also has Villa Araca in the barrio Vilas do Atlantico. Both villas have their own medium size private pool which is very nice, especially during the Brazilian summer (January and February) when temperatures of 39 degrees Centigrade may occur. We had a wonderful stay at Villa Flomboyan for a week at the end of January and beginning of February. The owner, Giuliano, was special. He and his wife, Nilzete, made us feel right at home. When we arrived, Giuliano drove us all around the neighbourhood, Vilas do Atlantico, to acquaint us with the restaurants and the streets so that we could easily follow the detailed map which he also provided. He stopped often during his tour to walk with us along the beachfront paseo and to introduce us to the fruit vendors and special spots worth visiting. The staff at the two villas, Jo, Sydney, Vinicius, and Patricia, were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included at the main villa, Araca. The chef, Patricia, prepared a number of items for a buffet breakfast every morning and was very willing to prepare any special items, such as eggs to order. We highly recommend Pau Brasil to fellow travellers.
