After a quite horrifying experience looking at hostels in the center, this place was a godsend. The rooms are very clean, the bed comfortable, shower was nice and warm. Location is very good to stay a bit out of the hustle of La Paz but still be central. Close to a few parks and a teleferico station.

The place has a cold atmosphere and the kitchen is not in a state that you would want to use it. Twice the power tripped while I was having a shower and since it is an electric one the water is then immediately freezing. Twice we told staff that we were going out before breakfast time and they offered to put some fruit out, but this did not happen. I must add that the room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Not recommended 

The house isn't not bad and it's well located (in a quiet neighborhood with many bars and restaurantes) but it's runned by greddy people with no experience. We arrived and saw a cockroach in our room. The room was dirty and not cleaned often. They always try to charge you more then you should pay: in our case they wanted us to pay their comissions to booking.com. The front desk it's always empty and you have to wait/call someone. The staff begins talking loud and making noise early in the morning.

Old house runned by people with no experience

I booked this place for the 19 - 20 May over booking.com, but found another place closer in the city. So cancelled this in time but strangewise it was not. Big arguments with booking.com and the hotel was also not very helpful. Then I had another friend who wanted to use my booking and I informed the hotel 48 hours before. 
But instead of giving me great service, the hotel was greedy and wanted to charge an extra fee for this. Sorry both: *booking.com and the hotel* failed!

Not nice experience

I really don't have anything positive to say about this place. When we arrived to the place (at 2pm), the receptionist told us that we did not have a reservation in their system and that we are in the wrong place, and asked us to leave. When we showed her confirmations of our booking in addition to a confirmation email from the place itself, she simply referred to the large amount of tourists coming there and said that they do not have any available rooms. She and another staff member, wearing pyjamas, seemed very uninterested in our problem and asked us to leave. Regarding the the confirmations we had received, they blamed the booking system, and they denied sending us the email from them (which we showed to them). The next day they informed the booking agency that we had been a "no-show".
Based on this experience, I cannot recommed for anyone to make a reservation to this place.
