If you're looking to get back to nature, then look no further than the Cocao Rainforest Lodge. Roger and Zoila have made a wonderful, welcoming home in the jungle, and you're pretty much guaranteed to see some amazing animals during your stay (we saw geckos, hummingbirds, toucans, scorpions, and beetles as big as your fist). Our room had a good sized bed with fans above it to keep us cool at night and an en-suite bathroom. Roger and Zoila were kind enough to drive us into the nearby village every day for breakfast burritos and evening meals. The house is just moments away from the Blue Hole National Park where they have a number of caves to visit (I recommend cave tubing with a guide organised by Roger) as well as go swimming in the Blue Hole itself. Finally, don't forget to have some of the chocolate truffles and chocolate tea that Roger and Zoila make. They're delicious!
