I think it's the best hostel I've ever stayed in! Friendly staff, a reception desk with maps and all information, impeccably clean rooms and showers, rooms with lockers provided (and I was alone in the room), cosy atmosphere, music and interior, great breakfast and everything for such a low price. I don't think there's a better option in Ghent.

Just amazing!

I had a very interesting time at this hostel. I arrived late in the afternoon so the staff were not there went I arrived. That was fine tho cause I didn't mind keeping my luggage while I tour the city and then only check in later that day. Although it was a bit hard to locate their staff in order to enter the luggage room. Then around midnight, some school children which was staying there broke the alarm and trigger what would be a very cold and sleepless night for the rest if us. There's no fire but due to safety reason, all of us that was staying there have to be evacuated to the opposite road until the firemen came and check it out. What disappoints me the most was, none of the staff came and check us out. Or at least assist us in calling the firemen/policemen. Sigh, what a night. But having said that, after the whole night drama, i return to my bunk bed, had a remaining good sleep and enjoyed the good breakfast. 😀

A very independent hostel

My husband stayed last night but had to leave as the room him and his friends were in had bed bugs. I am seeing now that there has been a problem with bed bugs for months now. I am so disgusted. Should be shut down if they cannot fix the problem. Seems to be a problem with 1 room /dorm in particular. Disgraceful 

Bed bugs - disgusting 

This's not my first time to stay in a hostel. But this hostel 's the worst hostel i've ever seen. Insufficient and dirty toilets are not so bad. But the services and bed bugs are terrible. They forced us to move to another floor in the morning while we're going out for renovating. so we had to move to 2nd floor to the new room where bed bugs're habitat. There're a lot of bedbug. We found them in the morning rally on our bed with a lot of blood stain on the bed sheet. A few days later, we got infected. We had a lot of bites on face , neck , arm and leg

terrible hostel with bedbug

I was supposed to stay in this hostel for 5 nights but the first night was a complete disaster. I saw many bugs walking on me while I was in bed. I left the room on that night when I noticed the problem. Got the full refund right away as they knew about this issue but never told me😡😡😡I had to sit the whole night on the chairs next to the lundry and toets in the basement. Sooo annoyed that they dont give these info on their website!!!
