What was good

Breakfast was top notch, the room standard double room was nice and spacious, the bathroom was also great, the bed was just soft enough that we weren't sore in the morning after sleeping, the sheets were maybe 200 threat count cotton, and the pillows were large, plump and comfortable. We requested a room on a top floor near the end of a corridor and were accommodated very easily. The staff were lovely, and we were left chocolates on our pillows every day, and even received some boxed chocolate too (although we stayed over easter, not sure if every guest gets this all year round). Truly a lovely stay, will recommend this hotel to any and everyone!

What was bad

I wouldn't say it was disappointing, but the hotel was just on the edge of the seedy part of town. It seemed a bit out of place to be honest, but if you walk one street over, you're on the high street with all of the big shopping, so it's actually ok. However, if you walk a bit north on the street the hotel is on.. basically I wouldn't have gone alone at night.
