I stayed in February having booked through the St Anton tourist website. I was contacted by Michaela and given a link to ask questions and provided with useful information up to my arrival. Even though I arrived in the morning, Michaela was happy to accommodate and my room was ready. I was also provided with free ski/board storage at the sport shop next to the lift, which was incredibly handy. The room was great and cleaned daily and a cooked breakfast was provided every day. Michaela and her staff were very friendly and happy to stop for a chat as I headed out to the slopes and when I got back. Again, when I left, I was able to leave my luggage whilst I squeezed one last day on the slopes. Would highly recommend staying as it was great value for a good central location and everything I needed was taken care of.

Great stay and so helpful

Fantastic hosting at gamberg haus, we came very late at nights,  rooms were waiting for us for a perfect night sleep. 2 rooms, family of 8 people.
Warm welcome by the family hosting,  perfect breakfast every morning.  The house is very clean, authentic beautiful and comfortable.
St anton was also super, we didn't moved the car at all. 
Supermarket in a minute walk, also the main lifts are a walking distance from the house.
We will sure come again


Ski vacation April 2023

While honeymooning in St Anton my wife and I decided it would be nice to take the bus from St Anton to Lech for a day in the village.  While in Lech the ski area and surrounds received so much snow the road home was closed - leaving my wife and I without accomodation in sub zero conditions until the road opened again the next day.  

After the bus reached the end of the rode, they kicked us out and we stumbled into the nearest hotel, Alberg Haus, to get warm and come up with a plan.  We were greeted by a friendly reception desk who offered us a room at short notice. They were very accomodating, even offering to open the onsite store so that we could buy essential supplies for the night (toothbrush and toothpaste).  

The hotel provided a delightful Austrian style 4 course dinner complete with Crepe Suzette.  We also enjoyed the Austrian Style breakfast the next morning before catching the bus back to our accomodation. 

The hotel was well located for access to the St Anton and Lech bus line!

Not all heros wear capes

Stayed here with my family of 4 for a week over Christmas. Everything was perfect. Right on the main street of St Anton, but far enough away from the nightlife that its not loud. The location was a short walk to any of the gondolas. We rented and stored our skis in town so we didn't have to carry equipment back and forth. (the rental spots will store your shoes/boots while you ski so you don't have to walk in ski boots) Our hosts served breakfast every morning which included cooked to order eggs. Brigitte was a wonderful hostess and super helpful for anything we needed to know- renting skis, train schedules. Our two rooms were plenty large. One had a kitchen and balcony. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms were updated and clean. We were thankful to have free wifi in the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in St. Anton! Perfect spot for a stay in St. Anton

Booked this accomodation very early on the recommendation of my ski travel agent. Could not have been happier in the 2 weeks experienced.

Very competatively priced for ski accomodation, and FAR better than I had expected for that price. The Haus is on the main street and an easy walk to the Galzig or Nasserein gondola's. One of the most enjoyable restaurants (Fuhrmannstube) is very close by across the street, and it's a flat walk and not too far to the Spar for snacks.

Included hot breakfasts were absolutely excellent with a nice continental selection to accompany. Eggs cooked as you wish, and served with a smile and a great, happy attitude. Chef (Brigitte's husband) was brilliant and a welcome to see every morning.

I had a single room upstairs at the front and it was much more spacious than I could have imagined. Very comfortable & quiet. In fact, the Haus is much larger inside than expected. Big halls and wide stairwell, nothing crowded about it at all, even has a good sized secure ski room just at the entry for overnight drying.

All this, and topped off by friendly and genuinely helpful hosts. I would not hesitate to return here and highly recommend this ski accom option. Thank you Brigitte :-)

Fabulous from day 1

We stayed as a group of 4 for some spring skiing, and Brigitte could not have been nicer or more welcoming. All of our rooms where spacious and lovely, breakfast was delicious. We could not have asked for more. 

Can't wait to stay again on our next trip to St. Anton!

Fantastic host, lovely little B&B

The hosts were friendly and helpful.  The hotel was in a great location, easy to walk to lifts and in a quiet section of town.  The room was a nice large room with separate toilet.  The beds were very comfortable.  There was a good amount of closet space.  The breakfast was great with a large variety of food and eggs made to order.
